This Saturday, we hosted the Prep Girls Hoops Expo at the Hidden Valley Fieldhouse in Bellevue. Over 80 players showed up to compete in an event that included girls across all classes. We'll be going through each team to highlight every player at the showcase, starting here with Team 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='751229' first='Seneca' last='Lucas'] | PG | West Seattle | 2027

Smart guard who made plays on both ends by playing with good positioning and IQ. Played with pace in transition, made several passes up and over the defense in tight windows to capitalize on fast breaks, and made drives to the basket with good court awareness to shift the defense and find teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='689457' first='Kathryn' last='Schroeder'] | CG | Kennedy | 2027

Played with good patience on the attack, was able to weave through defense and feel trail defenders to find openings by the hoop. Used her voice off the ball paired with good movement to get the ball in space and attack quickly off the catch. Was also able to hit some shots behind the arc and was a ready player on the catch to make quick decisions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1263137' first='Ava' last='Engskov'] | PG | Seattle Academy | 2028

Really proficient scorer who showed touch from different levels and spots on the floor and was able to get to her spots equally well with or without the ball. Had great vision and feel to get space for her shots and work for some pretty clean looks throughout the day. Just a smooth scorer who also showed off some good footwork closer in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1279170' first='Annika' last='Hastings'] | CG | Kamiak | 2028

Versatile defender who could defend inside and out, and provided some solid rebounding as a guard crashing in. Showed off some great vision and touch with some passes, and was quick to look up the floor off outlets and defensive boards. Made one great pass between defenders to hit her teammate in stride to the hoop for a quick transition bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1311722' first='Aira' last='Hardy'] | PG | North Thurston | 2027

Hard worker throughout the day who did a lot of little things to help elevate her teams' play. Very vocal on the defensive end and had good positioning from the help side, played screens well, and filled lanes in transition to help her team play with pace.

[player_tooltip player_id='1312298' first='Jaliyah' last='Dyson'] | PG | Mountlake Terrace | 2028

Hard-working guard who was excellent at defending on the ball, applying pressure, getting pokes and steals, and showed off a great engine. Competed across every area of the game and brought some physicality and pace to both ends of the floor. Was able to play through swipes and bumps with the ball and make plays to the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='588146' first='Azrielle' last='Amaya Burns'] | C | Mount Si | 2026

Did a great job defending pick-and-rolls and dribble handoffs on the perimeter, was ready to hedge, switch, was quick to the ball, and came out with hands up. Her positioning and motor defensively allowed her to cut off driving angles outside and defend the paint from post touches. Was big around the rim but also showed off the ability to step out and hit the corner three.

[player_tooltip player_id='1259636' first='Graycie' last='Kast'] | SG | Royal | 2027

Skilled wing with some size who put together a very solid offensive performance. Had good shot selection, which led to some efficient scoring from different levels. Was very impactful spotting up in transition and shot the three ball well out of different scenarios. Also showed some touch working downhill with a few touch shots in the paint.
