Underclassmen to watch from the RUN Showcase

Seem to always play aggressive on offense. Constantly probing the lane for drives to the rim, kick outs to teammates or scoring in the mid-range. Had tough finishes around the rim, along with good touch in the 8-16 feet range. While most of her scoring was focused on drives, did show some nice swagger with a crossover into a pull up three. Played heads up in transition when pushing. While also popping up to score in the mid-range and off rebounds in the halfcourt. Good clean compact release, with a balanced shooting form, leading to good rotation on her shots. Ran the floor hard in transition and was unbothered by taller players in the halfcourt. Even got a defender guessing with a ball fake, then a reverse pivot for a 12 footer. Played with obvious passion and energy, complete with being one of the few players at the camp to talk on the defensive end. Good early signs of intangibles for the incoming freshman. Also found her spots to score, including a few times as a spot up threat. Including a celebratory shimmy after one, which further showcased the energy she gives. Might have gotten a bit lucky with a banked in three, but players tend to create their own luck through work.
