BREAKOUT CANDIDATE
[player_tooltip player_id='751060' first='Gianna' last='Morelli'], 2027, 6-3 C, Bishop Chatard H.S.
- Not many people statewide are familiar with Gianna, because she has been injured and just started to really play in front of people this June & July. She has a solid to strong frame, length, athleticism, and good all-around skill. She has good hands and likes to play facing the basket, but she can also be dominant around the block. If she can increase her sense of urgency just a little, she can be a problem in 2025-2026.

ON THE RISE
[player_tooltip player_id='756234' first='Ivy' last='Henderson'], 2027, 6-4 C, Crown Point H.S.
- Ivy had somewhat of a breakout year last Winter, and I feel like with her size, strength, and touch inside of 15-feet, she could very well put up a double-double average on the season. Not only is she a big post prospect, but she moves well and intimidates opponents who want to attack the lane. If she can figure out how to play a little lower, especially defensively, she can impact the game on another level.

TOP NEWCOMER
[player_tooltip player_id='875128' first='Olivia' last='Adams'], 2027, 6-0 C, Kankakee Valley H.S.
- I have been watching Olivia for a few years, and she just continues to get better and better. She is powerfully strong, physical, but she also possesses soft hands and does a nice job of keeping the ball high and finishing high over taller prospects. In fact, she and Henderson (above) have had several run-ins over the years, and they seem to take turns winning the battle. Adams could be huge for the Kougars this Winter.
