This past weekend while I was in Des Moines, there was a lot of action taking place at our PGH Iowa Expo event. During this event I took live notes about whoever I was watching, trying to get a grasp as to what everyone's play-style actually is in that moment.

Here are some of those notes:

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

[player_tooltip player_id='923941' first='Emma' last='Worley']

"Good player with a lot of promise on both sides of the ball. Someone that can put it on the floor offensively to get herself a look or she can distribute to those around her. Worley is not the type to be a liability or to hurt you as a coach. Instead, she keeps it simple and that helps her make some buckets, while also getting some stops defensively."

[player_tooltip player_id='1264002' first='Dahmynique' last='Davis']

"DD is a DAWG when it comes to playing scrappy and with calculated aggression. There were multiple times today where DD made a big play defensively, which helped ultimately lead into her team's offense on the other end. Her mixture of quick feet, fast hands, and knowledge of where he opponent is going with the ball each time is impressive and it should carry her to some good numbers this Winter for high school ball."

[player_tooltip player_id='1229329' first='Asjed' last='Bokhary']

"Lengthy and intriguing as a prospect. She moves well for her size, standing around 5'9/5'10. She can play on the ball as her team's PG or she can move off of it to be a slasher or cutter offensively. Defensively, she gets her hands on a lot of tips and deflections because of her fast reaction time to her opponent. All in all, good showing in general for AB. Now she just needs to build off of it moving into the Winter."

[player_tooltip player_id='884847' first='Olivia' last='Baker']

"Everyone who see's Baker compete, loves her and I understand why. Baker has a great feel for the game as an overall competitor. She doesn't ever sit in one spot for more than 2 seconds. Instead, she is always moving, making it a tough time on whoever is guarding her. She also possesses a smooth shooting stroke, a respectable handle, and solid knowledge of the game. This season I'm hoping we can see Baker get consistent minutes. If she can do that, I'm sure she will make the most of her opportunities."

[player_tooltip player_id='1234254' first='Jasmine' last='Smith']

"Smith is a prospect out of the 2029 Class with a long ways to go in this game but as of right now - she is extremely solid for her position. Smith is so solid that I could see her taking over Estherville Lincoln Central this Winter. She has a great base, solid skills, and she understands her own ability to a T. She can actively get others involved around her and that was on full display at this event. "

[player_tooltip player_id='888306' first='Presley' last='Petersen']

"Bondurant is made up of younger prospects on their current roster. They are really carried by the 2028 and 2027 Class in reality. Someone from the 2028 Class, who should produce this Winter in one way or another is [player_tooltip player_id='888306' first='Presley' last='Petersen']. Petersen checks off a couple boxes that collegiate recruiters would have. She is a selfless competitor that loves to play through the whistle, she is extremely active when the ball is not in her possession, she understands what everyone else around her is good at, all leading into a really solid prospect overall moving into her Sophomore season with the Bluejays."
