Every player listed has shown off their skill-set over the years with their varsity high school team and that has helped them prove to recruiters that they have what it takes to suit up following their high school careers.

The college tour season continues on for [player_tooltip player_id='820515' first='McKenna' last='Powell'] as she finishes a bunch of schools around the Midwest. Powell, as of most recent, took a visit to Nebraska Wesleyan to check on their facilities and meet their coaching staff. This is another solid offer for Powell at this time. She is currently fielding close to 10 offers from all different types of schools in the area so it really comes to down which place feels like home the most. This is a high quality SG, that can light the nets on the fire in the blink of an eye. She has shown us this ability for three years now on the Varsity floor and I'm sure we will see that once again this Winter for one final go-around.

Another player that also had her most recent visit to Nebraska Wesleyan is [player_tooltip player_id='1058965' first='Bo' last='Caskey'] from Norfolk High School. Caskey is a Forward, coming in at just under 5'11. She is the type of player that loves to work with her back to the basket. She can either kill smaller and weaker defenders with her ability to go through them or she can hit them with a simple counter move - ultimately leading to a bucket in one form or another. I do think that Caskey competes hard and she could produce at the next level with the proper guidance. She is primed to have a successful season ahead. If she can do that and carry that momentum into college ball - even better!

[player_tooltip player_id='764451' first='Macey' last='O'Brien'] is slowly picking up recognition as a high quality hooper to D1 programs out there. To kick off this week, O'Brien received an offer from Ivey League - Cornell to continue on following her high school career. This is now O'Brien's second D1 offer but it won't be her last. Whenever you have a situation where an Ivey league school steps into the mix, you are sure to have multiple schools from that conference reach out. I would not be shocked if O'Brien held 3-7 Ivey League offers at the end of the day before committing. Her skill is obviously there as a top notch PG at 5'10. Now it's just all about what she can do within her new program at Hudson High School. If she can take that program over and do her thing, I'm sure her interest will continue to sky-rocket.

It's going to be a very interesting season ahead for a lot of prospects out of the state. Both from an individual and team standpoint. Someone who will have a chance to lead their team to State Title is [player_tooltip player_id='777233' first='Romey' last='Croatt'] of Waukee NW. Croatt is a heck of a ball player and overall athlete. She is very good at leading her team whenever she takes the floor, doing it by example and at a high rate. Recently, Croatt received an offer from D1 Bradley out of Illinois. At this pace, this is a hooper that will have 10+ Division-1 offers prior to this Winter season. If she can go out there and lead NW to a 5A State Title, I'm sure even more offers will end up tricking in moving into the Spring of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117324' first='Hannah' last='Overholser'] is the latest athlete to commit to the Simpson Storm. Overholser has been a constant for years at the Varsity level for her Norwalk team. She might not be their top dawg but she shows up when it matters and that's all you can ask from a coaching perspective. She is an individual with a solid handle, a good head on her shoulders, and she does possess some natural speed down the floor. She knows situations and what to do when, which is another intangible that she can carry to the next level. It's always touch to fit into a new system but if Overholser can do what she does best, she should just be fine in the long run with the Storm.
