I attended the Expo up in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'll begin going through a handful of teams that I watched play today and highlighting the players I observed throughout the morning and early afternoon. I thought it was a productive day, as I had the opportunity to meet some players from around the state, and I found it to be my most enjoyable Expo since attending the event for the first time in 2021. Today, we'll look at Team Ten and discuss the players from that unit.

The Dominican guard is one of the most intriguing players at the event for a few reasons. She plays hard and finds ways to make plays around the basket, and may have been the best rebounder at the entire event. The part that makes her rebounding interesting is that she's a 5'7 guard. She was aggressive around the rim and did an excellent job of creating space to shoot the ball around the basket. I love the passion and energy she brings to the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='764290' first='Gretchen' last='Whitten']

The Hudson native is a solid frontcourt player with the skillset to fit into any offensive style a coach may want her to play. She can play with her back to the basket and be a physical presence around the basket on both ends of the floor. I also appreciated her ability to play from the high post, knock down some mid-range jumpers, and pass from the free-throw line area.

[player_tooltip player_id='931984' first='Evelyn' last='Ehlke']

I thought Ehlke did a solid job of making plays around the basket in her minutes in the 5v5 portion of the event. She cut well from the perimeter and made herself available for her teammates to get her the ball around the basket. I thought she handled the ball well on the perimeter and brought some energy with her activity on the defensive end of the floor. She played hard, and that alone will be something that anyone who watches her will appreciate anytime they see her on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1039256' first='Paige' last='Pommerich']

Pommerich is a solid perimeter player who forces defenders to keep track of her on the perimeter. She is a threat to knock down shots from beyond the arc and can swing games based on her ability to space the floor offensively. I also love her ability to create off the dribble and find pockets of space to get her shot off from the perimeter from time to time.
