The IJU Fall Bracket Buster showcased a group of middle school players whose size and length already set them apart at an early age. These athletes used their reach to alter shots, control the glass, and finish over defenders, while also flashing skill beyond the paint. Their ability to combine physical tools with basketball IQ made them some of the most intriguing prospects of the tournament.    Onyia's game does not go unnoticed, jumping passing lanes and turning defense into offense with timely interceptions. Her defensive awareness extends beyond steals, as she plays reliable help defense to disrupt opponents' flow. With her instincts and hustle, she consistently puts herself in position to change the game on that end of the floor.     Rare and refreshing to see a young player understand inside positioning and how to work the paint. Thomas consistently establishes position on the low block, boxing out effectively to secure rebounds. Her toughness on the glass gives her team extra possessions and limits second-chance opportunities for opponents.     Watson gets smothered on the wing, but can use her size and vision to see over defenders and make plays. Defensively, she protects the rim as a reliable shot blocker and isn't afraid of physicality, often drawing contact on both ends of the floor.     Dorsey uses her length to secure rebounds with control, keeping the ball high to protect it from defenders. With her ability to push the ball in transition, she runs the floor well and can create opportunities on her own. Her length and athleticism make her a threat on both ends, whether finishing through contact, causing opponents to think twice about their shot selection, or finding teammates for easy baskets.
