Now that rankings content is done for now, we can look forward to the season tipping off this coming Tuesday. This weekend, I'd like to highlight a handful of players whom I'll be keeping tabs on throughout the 2025-26 season for various reasons. On Monday, I'll have a full day devoted to my predictions for the 2025-26 season, and I'll be open to being wrong on multiple occasions this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227856' first='Daniella' last='Martinez']

The Wauwatosa West rising senior is a guard who wants to get downhill and force the issue while attacking the basket. Martinez is a competitive player who can beat her initial defender off the dribble and play through contact when she gets around the rim. She is a player who doesn't enjoy losing in the slightest and is willing to put her body on the line to help her team win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275672' first='Avari' last='Steiner']

The Argyle/Pecatonica guard may be the x-factor in Division 5 this coming season. Playing with another talented guard, Steiner will be a player who will find herself open shots in high-profile games this coming season, and she has the confidence to let it fly. Steiner may not be a household name around the state, but she is a player who has the talent to make a profound impact on small-school basketball this coming winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='874401' first='Farrah' last='Danforth']

The Neenah wing/forward is a player who adds to what the Rockets have and could carve out a role for herself. She is a versatile player who is comfortable scoring at all three levels offensively and is comfortable playing away from the ball. I think she is a player who can fit next to Neenah's guards and help elevate her team. She may not be a player who scores a bunch of points this season, but she adds an element to the Rockets that they didn't have last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='890151' first='Aubrey' last='Lensmire']

Kaukauna is an intriguing spot in the Fox Valley Association. They have some players who can make plays offensively, and there is talent within the program that can help them compete. However, there isn't much, in terms of proven offensive weapons, which is where Lensmire may carve out a role. She is a skilled player who can finish around the basket. I'm eager to see if she can carve out a prominent role in the Galloping Ghosts rotation and make things happen in her sophomore season this winter.
