The season tips off later this evening, and before I head out to my first game of the high school season, between Edgerton and Poynette, I'd like to highlight a few players before I hit the road. I'll continue discussing players who I feel deserve some recognition all season, but here are a few more names to know heading into the 2025-26 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='509716' first='Sage' last='Miskel']

The Whitefish Bay guard is one of the more competitive and physical guards in the senior class around Wisconsin. Her role has evolved over the years, but her determination to win has remained constant. She's among the top rebounding guards in the state and will crash the boards on both ends of the court. I love the energy she brings to the floor, and she will be a player who finds a role at the next level if she wants to continue playing at that level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275665' first='Destiny' last='Webster']

The Notre Dame guard is a player who impressed me in her junior season and in her AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='713328' first='Team' last='1848']. She is a reliable ball handler who can make plays with or without the ball in her hands. I thought Webster showed that she could compete at a high level over the past 12 months, and is a name that every regional program should know as she heads into her senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='777580' first='Sarah' last='Bolchen']

Webster's AAU teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='777580' first='Sarah' last='Bolchen'], is one of the more aggressive guards in Wisconsin. The Manitowoc native gets to the basket as well as anyone and can get to the free-throw line multiple times per game. Bolchen's speed allows her to beat her initial defender off the dribble and force defenders to collapse on her when she turns the corner on defenders. I also believe she has all the tools to be an excellent pick-and-roll ball handler.

[player_tooltip player_id='888860' first='Nayeli' last='Kilen']

Players who defend at a high level will always find a home at the next level if they want to play in college, and Kilen is no different. The Milton guard is an excellent perimeter player who can set the tone for the Red Hawks at the point of attack on the defensive end, and she was a significant reason why the Red Hawks had a 20-win season in the 24-25 season. She will be a player who can help the Red Hawks win a regional title and compete at the top of the Badger-Large.
