<p>The buzz from High School Media Day carried straight into the updated Florida 2026 rankings — and the timing couldn't have been better. As programs from across North Florida gathered under the lights to showcase their new team chemistry, leadership, expectations, and some of their new prospects, many of the Seniors in the room made it clear that their offseason growth was real. Fueled by strong AAU showings and standout summer performances, they not only set the tone for the season ahead but also used that momentum to climb the latest rankings.<br></p>

Henderson continues to anchor the paint as one of the region's most athletic and consistent bigs. She's an excellent shot blocker who runs the floor with purpose and finishes through contact. She has the ability to run the floor like a guard. A true interior presence who impacts winning on both ends. Henderson has a knack for making game winning plays on both sides of the floor in the clutch. </p>

Athletic, high-motor, and aggressive on the offensive glass, she brings versatility and toughness every time she steps on the floor. Consequently, Campos has committed to play at the next level. </p>

More deliberate in her play, she proved that she can affect a game in many ways. A true defensive thief who turns steals into points, Haygood's improved midrange touch and added physicality elevate her into elite company. She can also attack the rim in the half-court setting and score in variety of ways. That was the biggest change to her game - scoring in numerous ways.</p>

Weston scores from all three levels and does it with a crafty, composed style. Her defense has become her calling card — quick, disruptive, and relentless. Fast, athletic, and determined, she's one of the most athletic and rising guards in North Florida.</p>

Waters has always excelled at finishing at the rim and scoring off floaters and runners, but her improved jumper makes her far more dangerous now. She's also an underrated defender and shot blocker and a high-level transition player who impacts every possession. She can steal it or rebound it and lead the break as well. Waters is a play maker on both sides of the ball. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514625' first='Sophia' last='Scibelli'] (SG, Menendez)</strong>No one elevated their stock more than Scibelli this summer. Week in and week out, she was one of the best perimeter shooters in the area — her three-point stroke was nearly automatic. Her growth drew college attention and resulted in offers, ultimately leading to a commitment. When Scibelli's three ball is falling, few teams can slow her down, and that was the story line all summer long. Scibelli is not just a shooter from the perimeter. She can blow by a defender and finish at the rim through contact. </p>

Curtis' blend of leadership, strength, and determination separates her from the pack. She nearly carried her team to playoff upsets with her defensive toughness, and ability to create on both ends. She is a game-changer -high IQ player on both ends of the court, and has an unmatched will to win.</p>

Capable of running the point or sliding to the shooting guard spot, she's a versatile contributor who keeps her team organized and energized.</span> Young is also a leader on the defensive end. She keeps her team engaged on both ends of the floor. She likes the run and gun style, but also holds her teammates accountable on the defensive end of the floor. </p>
