[player_tooltip player_id='557354' first='Jenica' last='Lewis'], the Norte Dame WBB commit, has started off her Senior season leading her Johnston Dragons team to an undefeated start. The Dragons are a group that has not lost the past two years so to keep things rolling is crucial. Lewis has been stepping up to do a little bit of everything this past month. She is handling her duties of scoring the ball per usual but she is also showing up in the assist, rebounds, and steals category every contest on a consistent basis. This is nothing knew but if Lewis wants to play for the Irish early in her career, she is going to need to continue to show up in all of these categories in different ways so she just needs to keep this momentum moving. She is currently locked in on her regular season at hand and that's a good thing.

Ankeny High School is another group that has been led to an undefeated season to start this Winter and a major reason for that is the #2 rated 2026 throughout Iowa in Creighton WBB commit - [player_tooltip player_id='342205' first='Jayla' last='Williams']. William is highly regarded as the best guard defender that the state of Iowa has to offer. She understands that she makes a lasting impact with her consistency, discipline, and tenacity on that side of the floor but something that is really coming along as of late is her offense. Williams has proven over the past six months that she is starting to be an accurate scoring threat from all offensive levels. If Ankeny is going to make a run come Playoff time, it's going to be on the back of Williams and her overall playmaking ability.

The ASU Sun Devils are getting a sniper in [player_tooltip player_id='509225' first='Averie' last='Lower']. Lower has been her usual self to start this Winter with her CCA crew. She has already posted a 40 point guard in one of her first contests on the season, along with some impressive numbers in the efficiency department to pair. If you are looking at Lower for what she is, it's noteworthy. 6'0, athletic, has a quick trigger from deep with ultimate range, she can light it up both on the catch or off the dribble, and she is willing to post up anyone smaller that might end up guarding her defensively - creating easy buckets for herself and a problem for opposing programs in the middle of the lane. When you combined all of those things together, you get a heck of a player and that is why Lower holds onto the #3 spot in this Player Rankings Update.

The Missouri Tigers should be excited that [player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller'] will be on roster after this Winter. Muller brings size, intelligence, a great feel for the game, and dedication to the floor at 6'3. She can defend her own position, someone bigger or someone smaller - depending on the circumstance, & she can be lethal offensively if you don't defend her in the correct ways. Muller should be someone who could see the court early on in her career for the Tigers. She possesses the size and ability. If she can prove in practice that she deserves a shot I'm sure it will be hard to take her off the floor, once she beings to see time. As for now, she will look to lead her DC program to another State appearance within the 5A Class.

South Dakota State is a very well ran program from top to bottom at the D1 level and [player_tooltip player_id='582806' first='Trishelle' last='Miller'] is ready to join that as soon as possible. Miller has an effortless touch on the ball, great knowledge of when to do what, and she is someone that coaching staffs don't have to worry about making bad decisions. Miller is going to lead her Bishop Heelan to the 4A State Playoffs come 2026. From there, who knows what could happen?! If they play their cards right, Miller does her thing and [player_tooltip player_id='777232' first='Melina' last='Snoozy'] shows up, they should be a team that is extremely tough to beat in the Playoffs. They just have to continue to keep the main thing, the main thing.
