Yassanna Love Smith has been a standout for SE Polk this Winter at the Varsity level. Love Smith has a shifty handle, a smart head on her shoulders, she is very good at facilitating for others around her, and she is scrappy defensively. If you are looking for a real junk yard dawg as a prospect, look no further than Love Smith. She brings high energy to the floor and that's contagious to those around her too. Love Smith should be staple of this group moving into the future. It looks like the coaching staff at SEP is already comfortable enough with letting her lead their offense so I don't expect that to change anytime soon unless she switches programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226688' first='Ashlynn' last='Long'] is looking to take over for her little sister this next year to follow this Winter season once she graduates but until then, she will continue to work on her craft while making impactful plays. Long comes in as a 5'8, that works hard on and off of the ball. She is much like her sister in the aspects that she doesn't need much to get warmed up. She can start for you and put up numbers or she can come off the bench, ice cold, and she can convert for you at a steady rate. Long brings to promise to the floor for her age, she just needs to continue to work with her sister in the off-time and she should continue to get better as she gets older.

When you are a smaller competitor, you have to make do with what you have. You have to be able to play off of two feet. You have to be able to counter going either way. You HAVE to be able to shoot it from deep off the catch at the very least and you HAVE to be someone willing to risk it all as a pest-y defender. [player_tooltip player_id='928443' first='Maya' last='Jenkins'] is a prospect out of this Class that has exhibited all of these behaviors so far throughout the first half of her Freshman campaign for Forest City. Jenkins can go. She is all gas, no breaks with calculated awareness. She knows when to pick and choose her spots and that speaks volumes to the mental part of this game that she possesses. We saw Jenkins do work coming into this Winter and I'm happy to see she has built off of that so far.

Presley Brill currently possesses the keys to the castle at West Burlington from the looks of it. Prill has always been a talented player from a young age and she is showing everyone watching so far this Winter the same thing. Offensively, Prill is a smaller CG with a lighting quick trigger off the catch or bounce, she is great at getting two defenders to commit then she hits an open teammate for a crafty assists, and she gets her hands on several tips/deflections throughout her contests when she is competing. At the end of the day, Prill makes plays happen on both ends and that will be an ability of her's that will continue to stick out as she progresses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1214538' first='Zella' last='Evans'] is going to surprise a lot of spectators of the next few seasons once she gets to the Varsity level at CCA. Right now the Clippers are really good so I don't expect Evans to move up this Winter but she has the skill-set to makes some waves for this program in the future. Evans pulls out some crafty moves when she plays, she can currently score from all offensive levels and she defends her position well. Currently this is someone competing at the JV level but that's good for her experience. You'd rather that be the case than playing up and never seeing the floor throughout the season.
