Film Review: Hoopsters That Decided Championships In March

She was unstoppable. Plain and simple. No one could stop her from dominating in every facet of the game while she was competing. She did everything you'd want her to as an offensive threat. She was scoring at Will, so much so that then other teammates around her became open for easy assists. Defensively, she recorded several steals, which led to a bunch of buckets going the other way in transition. Not because she hit big shots when the buzzer was draining down but because she produced so much on each side of the ball, every contest of the season. Rock Valley ended up winning their 2A State Title and they wouldn't have if it wasn't for Heavyn. She controlled the floor, held tempo with the ball in her possession, and she made a bunch of shots from the outside at some pretty impressive distances. I don't know much but I know that Northwestern got a STEAL with the Ranschau sisters. This season they came back with one goal in mind and they completed that goal as they leaders did their job. Leaders like Ellie Sievers. Sievers might only be going into her Junior year but she did a great job of leading the pack these last few months. When things got tough, she stayed positive and showed everyone that if they believe, they can make it happen in the end and her played demonstrated the same thing. Kluever was flying all of the court, tipping and deflecting the ball, causing chaos in the open court with her pressure and smart defensive tactics. She also got to the rim a lot throughout the week of State while playing a bunch of different defensive schemes for her Cardinals squad. I know that Kluever is a multi-sport athlete but there are some colleges throughout the Midwest that would love her effort on their roster. Phillips has been versatile within her years on the Varsity floor. She has been able to move around the outside at the Guard positions and continue to produce at a noticeable rate on both offense and defense with whatever is going on around her. Not a lot of hoopsters could make those settle changes and still see success but that's what makes Phillips a special type of prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
