[player_tooltip player_id='901710' first='Avah' last='Underwood'] is a SF that has been doing her part once again this Winter at St. Albert High School after coming off of a 1A State Title last season. Underwood is someone with some length at 6'0. She primary works in between the blocks and in the paint but she is always mobile enough to move wherever she might need to go in the blink of an eye. When you look at St. Albert on the scouting report, Underwood is at the top. If you can't stop her underneath, it's going to be a long night cause that's just the start of it for this group when they compete. Underwood might be their anchor, leader, and a main producer on both ends but she knows how to make her mark without scoring the rock and that is what makes their group tough to stop. It's going to be fun come Playoff time in a few short months and I can't wait to see how prospects like Underwood do when the lights are the brightest once again.

We highlighted [player_tooltip player_id='1262585' first='Taylor' last='Evans'] coming into this season as someone to watch because of her mixture of size, who she would be competing against, and how her team's systems work. In shorter terms, we knew that Evans was going to put up some numbers and she is doing that to a T so far. Especially in the Rebounding category. Evans currently leads the entire state in RPG and total rebounds (127) on the Winter so far. Evans is grabbing a bunch of boards on both ends and it's making outsiders really think that she could make some moves at the collegiate level with the correct guidance. When you consider that this is someone in the 2028 Class, standing at 6'3, and leading the State - you start to wonder. No matter how you put it, she has definitely been a big difference maker this Winter at Prince of Peace Catholic throughout their first nine contests.

[player_tooltip player_id='560333' first='Kendra' last='Boatman'] has been playing at a high rate while putting up big numbers to start off her Senior campaign. Boatman has had some noteworthy stat lines to say the least this season but the best part about it is that her team is winning as well. That's what matters. Boatman should continue on with her dominance over the next couple of months as she finishes out her Senior year. She will continue to hit big shots, she will continue to defend like her life depends on it, and she will continue to lead her group all the way until the end. Ideally that's somewhere during a State run in some fashion but we will see.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579269' first='Lauren' last='Dvorak'] has stepped up as Madrid's second big producer so far this Winter at the PF position. Not only is Dvorak making plays under the bucket as an offensive threat and a defensive stopper but she is assisting others that become open off her output, she is screening away and creating space for those around her, and she isn't afraid of being someone to get on the floor or to dive into the stands for a lose ball when those chances present themselves. Which is noteworthy for someone out of the Forward position, standing at over 6'0 tall. Madrid should be able to do some things when it matters over the next three months. If prospects like Dvorak continue to do their thing, who knows how far they will take things.

Prior to this season I was curious if [player_tooltip player_id='595151' first='Rowan' last='Jacobi'] was going to have a hard time adapting at South Dakota next season but I don't think that is the case after watching her the past few months. Jacobi has that natural size that everyone loves to work with and her athletic ability while going towards the bucket is no joke. At times it seems like she floats and it's eye-opening when you see that happen from someone with her height. She will need to really work at getting down the court at a high rate every single possession but other than that, I could see her having a lot of success right off the bat if she comes in motivated like she should. At say that Jacobi has been a difference maker on the floor for Springville this Winter would be an understatement. She has been holding it down in all facets of the game and that's what you want to see out of someone with her capabilities.
