Coordinated, lengthy, and crafty. It's easy to choose these three words as the ones to decibel [player_tooltip player_id='863283' first='Harlow' last='Griffin'] and what she brings to the hardwood. Griffin is a 5'11 CG/SF with a lot of versatility for her size and position. She doesn't really fit in any one spot. She has good size. Better than most but she is coordinated like a guard at times so when she needs to, she can move around and make things happen. Griffin is going to have a chance to be a really solid college prospect at the end of the day. She checks off a lot of boxes evaluators have and she seems to only be getting better as she gets older.

Control, sneaky, and scrappy. [player_tooltip player_id='833952' first='Avery' last='Banks'] knows how to control the game as a PG when the ball is in her hands. She is sneaky good when it comes to making an audible and she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty or to get on the floor for a loose ball when those opportunities present themselves. Banks steady progression as a PG over the years has been noteworthy. Each season she is getting better and better in her off-time as a hooper, which we saw first hand this past Winter at Van Meter when she lead everyone by example as their main operator.

Smooth, effortless, and courageous. I'm not sure if [player_tooltip player_id='1100896' first='Maura' last='Ryan'] is going to return this AAU season as she broke her leg or ankle in November at the kick off of the Winter. That mean's we didn't see Ryan much on the court the past few months but she is looking to lock in and be back to normal moving into this Summer. Ryan handles with intent, she knows how to score at all offensive levels off the catch or bounce, she makes difficult tasks look really easy, and she isn't afraid to failure. If the game is on the line, she is comfortable getting a good look for a shot to win it. She knows her hard work deserves that chance, no matter the result.

Strong, smart, and defensive. We have seen production out of [player_tooltip player_id='832209' first='Hattie' last='Galloway'] for a few years now at the Varsity level. Galloway has been a constant in producing near the hoop over her career. She is pretty versatile for her size/position but she really makes her mark with how she defends the middle of the lane. She knows to communicate with those around her on screening action and she is disciplined enough to stay down whenever someone might want to hit her with a bunch of pump fakes or something of that sort. As an overall recruit, there is a lot to like about this one's game. She knows what she is doing and she isn't the type that won't listen to her coaches or the game-plan. She knows how to lock in and I can't wait to see that for one more Spring on the road with her AIA AAU program out of DSM.
