It's not a surprise that [player_tooltip player_id='759113' first='Justine' last='Tcheuhchoua'] is leading the state in Points Per 32 so far this Winter for her Senior season. Your "Points Per 32" is the scoring number you would put together in a game if you played all 32 minutes of the contest, giving you a general picture of what a player might be able to do with their time on the floor even when they don't compete in a full ball-game for that entire amount of time. Tcheuhchoua is a tactician in the middle of the lane. She stands right around 6'0 and she moves with a better than average combination of height and physicality. Tcheuhchoua also has great touch and coordinated footwork in anything she is doing and that's why she is a D1 committed prospect. Over the next few months I expect a big and meaningful finish to her last year on the high school floor for Tcheuhchoua. Their group has several D1 talented prospects along side her so if they take care of business, they should be able to make a run before things come to a close.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131125' first='Kailey' last='Patzel'] is leading the state of Nebraska in RPG so far this season throughout her first five contests of the Winter. This isn't the biggest sample size but whenever a player is bringing in 18.9 RPG over five games, it's eye-opening. Not only is Patzel holding it down with the boards on both ends, she is also scoring at a high rate as well while averaging just under 15 PPG. If Patzel can keep up these numbers for the rest of the year, it will be an accomplishment she should be really proud of. It should be noted that she is only a 5'10 PF, playing undersized at her position so that she averages something along these lines not only takes skill but heart and a motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1583070' first='Phoenix' last='Brown'] of Sutherland High School has been a really promising talent for Sutherland over her 1.5 years at the Varsity level so far. Brown has started off this Winter on fire in the Rebounding department, much like Patzel above. Brown is currently bringing in 15 RPG in her efforts on both ends as she also averages 13.5 PPG as well. Whenever you have someone that can rebound, you can score, especially on the offensive end with O-boards so that's why we are seeing these types of numbers. There have been some moments where Brown has also made strategic moves to the bucket for easy finished on both sides of the hoop with her back to the basket but right now she is mainly thriving off of opportunity. Which you love to see from an outside perspective.

It's nice to see how good [player_tooltip player_id='1221233' first='Kinley' last='Ford'] has been to start off this season for Alma High School. Ford is known is the best 2029 in the state with her skill-set. She might be a smaller guard at 5'5 but there is no one close to Ford when it comes to the in's and out's of the game. She understands situational basketball, she is shifty with a nasty ability to control her body while attacking the rim. She is someone that sticks to her matchup like white on rice, never leaving their side, always making a play when it matters the most. Ford is currently a Top Leader in PPG throughout the state and she also is consistently showing up as an Assist leader and defensive threat to create some chaos. If this groups at Alma continues to play off of their general guard-play, they are going to be tough to stop as we move into the State Tournament in a few months.

I am not sure what coaches are necessarily thinking out of the Midwest by not offering or at least looking at [player_tooltip player_id='817523' first='McKenzie' last='Lewis'] of Omaha Benson High School. Lewis is a mismatch nightmare at 6'0. Lewis is not only tall, she is the strongest player out of the 2027 Class and she is determined whenever she is competing. She can be your Forward, that sits underneath and killers her matchups with her size or she can pop up to screen and shoot off of that screening action. Some of the toughest players out there when they get older are players like Lewis. Those players that no matter what, they will make it happen for themselves in life and that's what we could have here with the correct guidance. Lewis is currently one of the leaders throughout the state in multiple positive statistical categories and I don't expect that to slow down to finish the season.
