Holiday Showcase: Standouts From Day 1

She also showed her ability to put the ball on the floor and create offense, while making an impact defensively with active hands and multiple deflections. She blocked several shots and did a great job staying tall defensively, using her size and length to protect the rim. She did a great job turning the corner and finding driving lanes to attack, putting constant pressure on the defense. She did a great job getting her teammates involved, attacked off the bounce with strong drives, and finished well through contact. She opened the scoring by knocking down a three to get things started and stayed in attack mode throughout the game, consistently putting her head down and getting to the basket, earning frequent trips to the free-throw line. She also showcased nice footwork and polished post moves on the block. She caught fire from deep in the first quarter, drilling back-to-back triples, and did a great job keeping her head up to find teammates running the floor in transition.
