I really liked what I saw from Jaelee. She showed off some exquisite footwork on the block, using an up-and-under move to finish at the rim. She did a great job finding gaps in the defense to attack and finished well through contact. Defensively, she stayed active, turning steals into points on the other end. Jaelee also used her athleticism and length to her advantage on the glass and recorded a couple of monster blocks, imposing her will on both ends of the floor.

Jaelee changes shots before they even leave a player’s hands. Her length and athleticism make the paint a danger zone! She switches across positions, recovers with speed, and protects the rim with authority. When she rotates over, opponents think twice!

Jaelee was the difference-maker for Douglass in its matchup against GRC. She opened the scoring by knocking down a three to get things started and stayed in attack mode throughout the game, consistently putting her head down and getting to the basket, earning frequent trips to the free-throw line. She also showcased nice footwork and polished post moves on the block. Jaelee made her presence felt on defense with several big-time blocks and controlled the glass, pulling down a bunch of rebounds.

One of the top ranked Juniors in the state, Knowles has a ton of potential thanks to her size, length and ability to switch on the defensive end. Jaelee had a good showing at camp even though she didn’t get a ton of shots on the day. She’s shown that she doesn’t need to have a huge scoring day to impact the game on both ends of the court.

Jaelee put on a complete performance, making an impact on both ends of the floor. She showed her strength early with a strong rebound and put-back, finishing efficiently around the rim. In the second quarter, she came up with a big-time block, then ran the floor and finished in transition to bring her team within one. Coming out of halftime, she wasted no time attacking, driving hard to the basket, got the hoop and the harm, then calmly knocked down her free throws. The third quarter turned into a block party, as she protected the rim with all her might. Jaelee then displayed her offensive versatility, hitting a free throw jumper and capping off her night by drilling a dagger 3-pointer in the fourth.

Jaelee made strong drives to the basket and did a great job drawing contact, which led to a bunch of trips to the stripe. She worked hard to gain inside position for offensive rebounds and racked up a substantial amount of put back points by doing so. She hosted a block party on defense and seemed to get a hand on every shot that was in her reach. (Featured Image)

compete was during a summer ball tournament, which I believe she was entering the 8th grade. I new then that with her size and length alone she could be a D-1 prospect. Jaelee has a soft touch around the rim and a strong ability to secure rebounds on both ends. She is a defensive specialist who can protect the paint and guard the perimeter. She uses her length to her advantage to keep ball handlers in front of her and block jump shots. Jaelee received her first D1 offer from Western Kentucky University on Monday.
