The competition that Marlee plays on a game-to-game basis is usually against programs that have multiple high-level prospects on their roster, and Marlee, at her age, was able to hold her own. The growth she has shown in a matter of months is key to why more P5 offers were sent out to her this month. She's in the conversation about who's the best prospect in the state, let alone her class.

Most tournaments in the state host the JV level games in the same building, with most eyes on the varsity... some players suit up for JV that bring attention to their games... and Sophia did just that. Calhoun is a varsity level player at her age, but when you're playing for a program that is constantly winning, you have to work your way into that rotation. In the games Sophia played for JV, she was outright dominant. The athleticism, the free flow of her game... and the confidence is scary for her to have at this age. Major upside.

Johnson has put everyone on notice.. and it's by simply being consistent. As far as prospect goes.. this kid is in the conversation with the best players in the state, not just in best in her class. She approaches the game the same way.. "Be aggressive, but be smart". There is a ton of pace and an easy kill attitude to her game, on top of a sharp and adaptable skillset. She can score from all levels, guard 1-4, and has no problem with contact.

Plays the game at her own speed and never seems in a rush. The length allows her to score without needing a ton of dribbles, and from the outside, she is all confidence and will let it go with no hesitation. A top 50 prospect in her class for sure. Should see some offers fall her way if the level she's playing at remains consistent.

It's one thing to be consistent throughout the season, but having a tournament where every game is back to back and still play at an elite level deserves credit. It shows durability and focus. Brooklyn displayed that. I think going into the spring and summer, the offers will begin to pile. She can take over a game from the offensive side, and defensively can handle 1-3, and deal with 4 and 5's if necessary.
