Following a blowout loss to 3A Woodruff on the first day of this year's tournament, Glover helped her 4A Aiken assembling right the ship. In the Green Bracket third place game, she led her team with 10 points in a 43-22 victory over 2A Eau Claire. She stands at 5-foot-7 and can spend plenty of time on the wing. Glover understands what to do with the ball in her hands – including the ability to split defenses as she attacks the rim. Rebounding is another one of the strong points to her game and a good bit of her offense is a byproduct of the solid defense she plays.

Evans has taken an emphatic next step in her sophomore season. That continued to display itself on Sunday at 5A Division 1 Lexington. Even though her 3A Cross Creek team were on the wrong end of a 44-40 decision to 4A Richland Northeast, Evans led all scorers with 18 points. Evans can place points on the board in a variety of ways – including with her running floater, from the long-range and from the midrange. Much of the offense she creates for herself and her Razorbacks is a byproduct of her defense – she is one of the leaders in steals for Cross Creek.

Monday's matchup between her SCISA 4A Hammond team and 5A Division 1 public Spring Valley got out to a rocky start for McMillan. She was able to finish strong and put forth a productive matchup with 15 points even in a 42-34 Skyhawks defeat. The early tries were not falling for McMillan – but the free throws were. McMillan's first six points all occurred at the charity stripe. She then found more success with attacking the basket and also understanding when the right times were to score and when the correct times were to pass. McMillan is one of five 2027s on this year's Skyhawks team.

A year after winning the 2A Upper State championship, Eau Claire is looking for a new centerpiece of its program as the Shamrocks are set to begin life as a 1A participant starting next season. Nunez could be emerging as that centerpiece. She got the start for Eau Claire in the Green Bracket third place contest against 4A Aiken. Even though the Shamrocks were on the wrong end of a 43-22 decision to the Green Hornets, Nunez led all point-getters with 15. She is a skilled guard who can handle the ball with her left hand and finish with the left as well. Along with putting crooked numbers on the board, Nunez does the little things – such as diving for loose balls – that go a long way in getting a team in the win column.

The fifth annual Lexington Christmas Classic may have concluded in a defeat for the host Wildcats but Anderson's 13 points displayed exactly why coach Molly Goodrich's Lexington team is among the squads to beat this season. Anderson still managed to deliver solid minutes for her team in the second half despite foul trouble – she picked up her fourth personal in the third quarter. Anderson's paint presence and her rebounding are merely two elements of her game that showcase why she is poised to succeed at the collegiate level with Francis Marion. She is one of five seniors on this year's Wildcats team.
