Sparkplug for Newcastle in the win. Was all over passing lanes and applying ball pressure. Leading to steals and deflections. Hit double figures with a team high 15 points. Much of her damage was done in transition and on drives. Had watched Greenroyd before primarily as a shooter, was impressed with the defensive grit and finishing ability the rim. Senior who has a big part to play on a team known for their talented sophomores.

Wilson could not be contained to start the game. The quick lead guard diced up the Newcastle defense off the drive. She has a great first step and good balance on those drives. Displayed the same aggressive and tough mindset on defense as a pesky on the ball defender. Along with her own points, a game high 16 points, her efforts created good looks for her teammates. Recorded three steals, to puncate a strong performance from the all action guard.

Hard nosed scoring guard, who finished with a team high 12 points. Went 6-7 from the line, with drives and mid-range jumpers Often is the first to the floor for a loose ball. While also playing tough, physical defense. A grinder of a guard, who has matured into a go to option on offense for Edmond North.

Junior who is becoming quite the anchor for Edmond North. Took a pair of charges, while challenging many more shots at the rim. Capable of stepping out and harassing ball handlers on the perimeter as well. Along with the versatile defensive principles, she hit double figures with 10 points. A lot of her production came around the rim, but did step out and hit a mid-range jumper as well.

Franklin took Edmond North by storm to start the contest, quickly hitting double figures. Quick and hard nosed guard, with subtle change of direction, head fakes and more to get to the rim. Made some nice feeds on those drives, especially as the defense started to focus more and more on her. With her ability to either score floaters over taller defenders or even take contact on And 1 finishes, Franklin is a certified bucket. Scored a game high 19 points, including impressive 8-9 shooting from the charity stripe.

Ohm was a force in the interior on both ends of the court. Anchored the back of the Ladybugs' stellar zone defense. Great verticality principles when contested shots, either on posts up or sliding over against driving guards. Has a very soft touch from 8 foot and in. Used pump fakes and her strength to muscle in tough shots. 3A Alva picked up a signature win over a Class 6A and the senior's 14 points were a big reason why.

Miss Clutch for the Lady Miners. With the score tied and about a minute remaining, Davis drove to the rim, spun, pump faked, stepped through and scored at the rim like it was just another practice drill. The bucket broke the deadlock and helped 2A Hartshorne to a win over the 6A hosts Mustang. As the top returnee from last year, Davis has a bigger role. Last year her energy and off the ball scoring were huge for the 2A running ups, now she's playing more on the ball and running the show. Stepped up the challenge with 16 points and 3 steals.
