The Super Games Showcase was a rematch of last years private school championship where Bishop McNamara handedly beat St. Frances Academy. With the WCAC's dominance in the DMV it was going to be fun watching three of the top WCAC teams go against some local out of conference opponents. The Mustangs came in ranked as high as #6 in the country along with Bishop Ireton the WCAC's preseason front runner, Elizabeth Seton a championship contender and St. John's College one of the premier top teams in the conference, no one expected a rankings buster night, a rankings buster is what we had as the WCAC went 1-3 against their opponents. Here are some of the standouts of the day.

Khloe had a tremendous game and a phenomenal first half with 21 of her game high 27 points coming in the first half. She did a little bit of everything from stealing the ball and assisting others for scores. She had some signature moments to include a half court buzzer beater that accounted for one of her four 3-pointers and a euro step inside hand finish that sent the defender out of bounds. She drove really fast and when she got full throttle she would get to basket before the help defense could react.

Dahni was physically dominant inside. She had her way with the Mustangs in the paint outscoring the Mustangs post players 13-2. Her presence on the boards was felt the most as she cleaned up most of the misses that came off the glass. She gave her all in their game leaving it on the floor and you could see that she was spent after the game ended.

Jaylah's 18 point performance would be a great game for about anyone else on the planet. However, in a three point loss to a state rival, she is probably wishing she had did more (I feel sorry for the next team she faces). With that being said she have a phenomenal game by anyone's standard, some really good finishes. She put pressure on the defense getting to the line repeatedly and going a perfect 8 for 8 from the line. She led all scorers in the second half and the pivotal fourth quarter.

Nylah hit the corner three, the three from the top angle, she attacked the rim and finished baseline she even got to the line and finished the three point play. She was dominant, this was all in the second quarter. She showed coaches in an eight minute stretch what she was capable of, this doesn't even account for her defense that was great the entire game.

I hate using nicknames a lot as college coaches need to locate players to offer scholarships, however, Kiki is on the official roster so we will go with that. I guess when you're dropping 28 points you can go by whatever you want. Speaking of Kiki did everything she could to try and will a comeback against one of the top WCAC teams SJC. She showed a scoring mentality that is next level and a short memory of missed shots. It at the right college she should make her all conference team as a freshman..
