2027 New Additions--Pt 1 | Prep Girls Hoops

Our scouts have been actively evaluating high school prospects in the months leading up to this rankings update. We have expanded our 2027 class rankings to include 373 total prospects ranked and on the Watch List. These seven prospects earned a spot in our rankings by demonstrating college-level abilities in front of our scouts.    Aaliyah was one of the biggest stock risers at our PGH Expo in September. Her athleticism, length, lockdown defense, and prolific offensive abilities made her one of the brightest prospects in the gym. Aaliyah earned an All-Showcase Second Team selection and an All-Defensive Team selection. She showed explosiveness off the dribble and finished effectively at the rim. Aaliyah put herself on our radar at the showcase and is a Lakeview talent with the potential to keep climbing.     Aries is the lead guard for a young and hungry East Kentwood team that's been turning heads this season. She explodes downhill to the rim off the dribble and harasses opposing ball-handlers on the perimeter. Aries secured her place in the top 70 by delivering a noteworthy performance on both ends of the court against very talented college-level guards. Her rebounding, defense, facilitation, and toughness truly set her apart.     Valeria is a wing from Armada who continues to develop and demonstrate the qualities of a promising college prospect. She's a versatile scorer who can split gaps with her dribble combinations and finish well in traffic. Valeria has an accurate three-point stroke from the perimeter. She demonstrates good mechanics and maintains excellent balance on her shot. Valeria uses her length to block shots and create steals on the defensive end. Her skill, length, and athleticism should attract interest from many college coaches.     Emory is a long, versatile, and talented guard prospect from Cedar Springs who impressed our scouts during the summer and fall. Her dynamic impact on the defensive end, poised ball-handling, and finishing dexterity with both hands in the paint made a strong impression. Emory can knock down the perimeter jumper, and she has the potential to be a high-level prospect.     Meredith is a key contributor for one of the best D2 squads in the state--South Christian. She led the Sailors with 18 points in a win vs. Coopersville and plays with endless energy. Meredith has an extra gear in transition, pushes the ball with both hands, and finishes well at the rim. Her quick hands create deflections and steals on the defensive end. Meredith distributes the ball effectively to teammates for assists and uses her athleticism to block shots. She's an outstanding two-way player with next-level upside.     Madeline stood out during the travel season, and she hasn't hit her ceiling yet as a college prospect. Her long arms, interior footwork, finishing touch around the basket, and rebounding effort left a lasting impression. She disrupts passes on defense by keeping her hands active and has the mobility needed to defend on the perimeter. Madeline can face up and drive to the rim. She's a forward at Stockbridge for colleges to have on their radar     Mady was consistently a top performer during spring travel tournaments with Factory. There was one game where she played point-forward. Mady created driving lanes using crossovers and finished multiple and-one layups through contact. She's a strong rebounder who closes out hard to block shots on the perimeter and protects the basket. Mady can step outside to hit three-pointers and attack downhill off the dribble. She's a versatile forward at Novi that I'm expecting to have a big junior season.
