Scoring Superstars: 40 Point Club

The 40 Point Club is an exclusive club reserved for members dropping a 40 piece in a single game. It's a rare occurrence but happens when some of the best of the best step on the court and can be seen as an early indicator of future success.   40 POINT CLUB    Jozi joins the elite scoring club with a 43 point explosion in triple overtime loss against Holy Cross. She was unstoppable showcasing her full offensive arsenal knocking down three-pointers, attacking the rim off the dribble, and consistently converting at the free throw line. She is a smooth athletic guard with good size and an excellent shooting form with a good release. Defensively, she plays with discipline and awareness, displaying strong positional defense while covering significant ground as a help defender. Her motor, versatility, and scoring ability make her a constant problem for opposing defenses.     Qandace poured in 42 points, including 18 from beyond the arc in a standout performance against Good Counsel. She was a constant offensive threat, stretching the defense with her perimeter shooting while also showing a natural ability to put the ball on the floor and attack closeouts.   Qandace has a strong knack for getting to the basket, using body control and timing to absorb contact and earn trips to the free-throw line. Her scoring versatility forces defenders to pick their poison, stay home on the three or risk being beaten off the bounce. With her confidence, range, and ability to score at all three levels, she proved to be a matchup problem throughout the game.    TOP SCORING PERFORMERS    Charli delivered another strong showing finishing with 21 points in a WCAC matchup against Archbishop Carroll. She was extremely efficient, shooting over 70% from the field and consistently making the right reads within the flow of the offense. On the defensive end, Charli was just as impactful, recording four deflections, two steals, and a blocked shot. She uses her length, anticipation, and activity level to disrupt passing lanes and challenge shots. Offensively, she scores in a variety of ways, whether finishing at the rim, knocking down perimeter shots, or capitalizing in transition. Her all-around skill set, combined with her length and efficiency, separates her from most players in the region.     London proved once again she is a scoring machine, effortlessly pouring in 30 points against rival Roland Park at the All About the Girls Showcase. She consistently put pressure on the defense with her ability to attack the basket, using strength, pace, and body control to finish through contact and earn trips to the free-throw line.   While her downhill game remains her calling card, London also showed the ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc, forcing defenders to respect her perimeter touch. That added dimension makes her even more difficult to guard and enhances her effectiveness at the next level. With her scoring instincts, versatility, and confidence, London continues to separate herself as a high-impact offensive weapon.     Ivanna is the gold standard for what “elite” looks like in girls' basketball. She has the rare ability to completely dominate a game on both ends of the floor while never needing to over-possess the ball. Her impact is felt through efficiency, timing, and basketball IQ as much as raw scoring. She finished with 31 points against the Potomac School, and the consensus is that she could score 30 every night if she chose to make that her priority. What separates Ivanna, however, is her unselfishness and her willingness to let the game come to her.   Defensively, she brings consistent high effort, setting the tone with her activity, positioning, and competitiveness. She values stops just as much as buckets, which makes every point she scores feel earned and meaningful. Ivanna's combination of talent, discipline, and two-way impact places her in a class of her own and defines what elite truly looks like.
