We have diligently evaluated 2026 prospects year-round throughout their high school careers, and the rankings have taken shape. Our list now includes 500 total prospects, and the final rankings update is just around the corner. 92% of the prospects in this class are projected to play for programs at the NAIA/D3/JUCO level. My hope is that all the girls on this list will have the opportunity to play basketball at the college level. I believe there's a kid who can help a college program at every level in these rankings. Here are several power forwards who earned a higher ranking in our latest update.

Mya went toe-to-toe with Michigan's top forward prospect at the MBA Mother's Day Classic and cemented herself as not only a power four volleyball prospect (Baylor Commit) but also a high-level basketball prospect. Her athleticism, strength, mobility, size, shot-blocking, rebounding, footwork, and finishing touch around the basket fit the mold of an elite power forward. Mya was a crucial member of Ishpeming's 2024 State Championship team and is one of the best forwards to ever come out of the U.P. She's a double-double machine and a major reason why Ishpeming is the D4 favorite.

Paige committed to Davenport University in July after a very impressive summer. She's been at her best for Powers Catholic this season. Paige started the new year off with 21 points and 14 rebounds in a win against Midland Dow, then had 23 points and five rebounds in another win vs. Davison. Her length and mobility disrupt offenses. She's an effective inside/outside defender. Paige drives to the rim with determination, battles for rebounds, makes smart backdoor cuts, runs the court well, and finishes through contact. She's developed as a perimeter shooter and creates matchup problems for opponents.

Brooke showed her physicality in the paint at the PGH Expo in September, making an impact on the offensive glass and finishing with strength around the basket. Brooke's been productive throughout her career at St. Mary's Prep and that's been the case again this season. Against Heritage, Brooke led the team with 13 points and added six rebounds. She put up 12 points with nine rebounds in a statement victory against Clarkston. Brooke can put her foot down and drive to the basket for two points or step outside and hit perimeter jumpers. She's a scrappy rebounder and one of the top unsigned forwards still available.

Christine is a long, athletic, and physical forward who immediately grabs your attention when she's on the court for Belleville. Christine jumps into passing lanes to create steals, blocks shots, secures rebounds with a high motor, and drives aggressively to the basket. She's a strong finisher and has a high ceiling as a college prospect.

Clare has been a pillar in the Negaunee basketball program, and her stock really went up over the summer. Clare was a top performer at the [program_tooltip program_id='928192' first='Zero' last='Star Basketball'] Showcase and the MBA Mother's Day Classic. She possesses the qualities you want in a college forward. Clare is athletic, long, physical, strong, and will not be outworked on the court. She pursues 50/50 balls and rebounds with fierce determination. Clare has excellent vision and passing instincts. She finishes well off two feet, closes out hard to block shots, and has the lateral quickness to defend the perimeter. Clare is one of the best post defenders in the class and will be a great addition to a college program. She picked up an offer from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in June.

Mattie started the season strong, putting up a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds in a win against CHAP. She's long and physical, scoring with strength around the basket, but capable of stepping outside to knock down three-pointers. Mattie protects the rim as a shot-blocker, secures rebounds, and has an accurate mid-range jumper. St. Patrick is 7-1, and they look poised to make a playoff run.
