Typically accompanying updates are articles highlighting players on the move, newcomers, and just all-around general information regarding each position group. Below is a look at the top combo guards in the state of Indiana, followed by some commentary on a handful of prospects who have played well since the Fall update.

[player_tooltip player_id='751118' first='Saniya' last='Smith'], Pike H.S.
- Saniya is one of the best pure scorers in the 2027 class. She is extremely quick and explosive off the bounce, she does a really nice job of using the dribble to create space, and she can fill it up from deep, pull-up in the mid-range game, or get to the basket and finish in a variety of ways. Not only is she an effective scorer, but she is also a feisty defender, a willing passer, and someone who can stuff the stat sheet from game to game.

[player_tooltip player_id='756236' first='Kendal' last='Hill'], South Knox H.S.
- Kendal was a big part of South Knox's 2025 State Championship team, but she was unfortunately injured (knee) early in the Spring. She returned at the beginning of this season, and she has been outstanding for the Spartans. As a point guard, she is averaging a double-double, but it's scoring & rebounds (17.3 ppg, 10.2 rpg). Kendal is also handing out 5.6 assists per game and collecting 4.1 steals per game. She is a complete & versatile guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='756243' first='Macy' last='Loy'], North Central H.S. (Indianapolis)
- I feel like Macy is one of the more talented "sleepers" I have seen in recruiting circles. She has good size, wiry strength, and she's a talented athlete in most directions. She has good North/South speed, she can get to the rim and finish, but she's also a more-than-willing distributor. Macy has nice touch outside as well. Defensively, she can take on bigger guards, wings, and undersized forwards, plus she's an effective rebounder as a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='750681' first='Ava' last='Wilson'], Columbus North H.S.
- At 14-5, Columbus North is having a very good season. They are doing so behind the play of a strong and deep backcourt where no one necessarily stands out. With that said, I really like Ava's potential for the next level, and because of the Bulldogs' depth, she isn't a 20 point per game type of scorer. She has length, quickness, and the ability to create space off the dribble. She can shoot it, and with range, plus she can create for others.

[player_tooltip player_id='890886' first='Jayma' last='Stonebraker'], Whitko H.S.
- Jayma is one of my favorite guards to watch in this 2027 class. She is very quick, fast, and feisty. She flies around the floor at both ends, and she is a constant playmaker. She can shoot/score the basketball in bunches, but she's also a willing passer offensively. She gets inside the defense and forces them to collapse, but she also understands her size and doesn't force. Defensively, she really bothers opposing ball-handlers with her quickness.
