Skylar got a lot of varsity action last season as an 8th grade on a team that won 28 games, something I find very impressive. The 5'10 forward contributed 3.1 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game last season. I predict she at least doubles those numbers this season. She is very long and a tremendous defender. She defends without fouling and is great at contesting around the rim. She runs the floor hard and can put pressure on opponent's transition defense. She has potential to be a very good high school player.

Brooke is another Titan who played significant minutes for TGU last season as a middle schooler. Last season she averaged 3.8 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and recorded 70 steals and 86 assists. She is a talented guard who contributes on both ends of the floor. She does a good job of pressuring the ball and forcing turnovers for opposing teams. She sees the floor well and finds the open teammate. She has a good change of direction with the rock and can hit the middle floater.

Haug is the pride of Central Cass and is still in the beginning of what will be one of the most decorated careers in school history. Kenley is a great prospect due to her elite skill level, her quick first step, and her strength. She has room to improve all of those facets due to her young age. What separates her from many recruits is that she has the desire to improve. To be better than most and still want to improve is a quality not many high school athletes possess.

Thorton is one of the more impressive athletes in the 2029 class. You can tell the second she starts playing why she has received two Division 1 offers already. She is going to have many more in the next two years. She has a very smooth shot and quick release. She is deadly from behind the arc, currently shooting 39% from three. Her ability to play inside and out and her length as a guard have her as one of the top prospects in the state.

Welstad is an extension of her head coach both figuratively and literally. She is having an outstanding first varsity season playing for her dad at Century. She likely would have been playing varsity earlier if Bismarck Public Schools allowed middle school athletes to be pulled up. She is an excellent defender and oftentimes guards opposing teams' best player. She is one of the best two-way players in the state, regardless of grade or class. She is currently averaging 12.7 points per game, 5.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.9 steals. She has an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.13(!) and 52 deflections on the year.

I see [player_tooltip player_id='1246816' first='Willow' last='Demers'] as one of the top scorers every time I see a box score for Grafton. Willow is an excellent young post with soft feet around the rim. She is just beginning to grow into her frame and could gain some more height in the next couple of years. She has strong legs and can move opponents around down low. She has a lot of potential as a player and could be something special in the future.

Neumiller played extensive minutes last season as an 8th grader and is having another terrific season as a freshman this year. She is the Blue Jays leading scorer at 12 points per game. Opponents lock onto her and try to take her away as the primary offensive threat. She is an excellent three-point shooter, shooting the ball at 40% from behind the arc. She has a quick release and gets her feet set up nicely on passes. She is another young player and could be longer and taller next season, which would make her an even scarier opponent to play against.

Stevenson is a competitive beast for the Mavericks. I really appreciate how she plays the game. Dickinson has struggled to win games the past couple of seasons but Ali is a player that is fighting to help turn that around. She plays more like a forward than her listed position as a guard but can handle the ball when needed. She isn't afraid of physicality or taking the ball to the basket. The Mavericks will be a better team in the next couple of years if players like Stevenson continue to lock in and improve.
