6A D2 Road to State Begins

<p>The road to San Antonio tips off this week, and before the first ball is thrown up in the 6A Division II bracket, it's important to clear up one common misconception: <strong>Division I and Division II are not separated by talent level.</strong> <strong>The split is strictly <em>enrollment-based.</em> </strong>Schools compete in the same classification and often in the same district, but when the playoffs begin, they're divided by size — with the larger half going Division I and the smaller half going Division II. Agile and fundamentally sound, she knows how to use her body to establish position and create space on both ends of the floor. Duckworth controls the paint for her team — rebounding, finishing through contact, and providing a steady defensive presence that allows the Wildcats to play confidently around her.</p>   <p><strong>Kingwood │</strong>Led by young talent freshman guard <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/caroline-tipp/">[player_tooltip player_id='1149177' first='Caroline' last='Tipp']</a> has emerged as a smooth, long playmaker for Kingwood.
