Battle of Baltimore: Who We Need To Know?

Several players that we don't hear a lot about had breakout performances during the Battle of Baltimore. We had lights out shooters, super athletes and solid post players that all showed that they belong at the main table. Prep Girls Hoops was in the building and impressed with the level of the players and the competitive matchups that was set up by 695 Hoops.    Audrey used her size inside to score and get to the line. Once at the line she calmly stepped up and knocked down her free throws. She showed a really good form on at the line which translated into an accurate mid range jumper. She scored all of Flowers first quarter points. Audrey has good size, she rebounds and finishes well inside.     London is pure speed. Her straight line sprint with the ball is about the fastest that I've seen in recent memory. What's most impressive is that she maintains control throughout into her finish. Her shot is much improved and is a weapon, however, the way she attacks the basket separates her from most players. She has become one of the premium players in the Baltimore area. She reeled off around thirteen 3-pointers in a row from the corner. When the game began the hot shooting continued and there wasn't an off switch. She knocked down back to back three's before the half and saved some for the next half. She has to be denied the ball and if she does get the ball, it would be a mistake to give her room to breath.     Miley showed inside out versatility starting the game off in the low post. She had a nice drop step and finish at the basket, she also rebounded well inside. She caught the ball at the high post and did a reverse pivot to create space without wasting a dribble, then elevated into her shot nailing a 14 footer, she also stretch the floor out to the three. She played the passing lanes well getting her hand in the play and creating steals.     Geren is a super athletic wing with several division one offers. She elevates well in the lane and is a solid finisher. She scored 15 first half points in the win versus North Point and went a perfect 7 for 7 from the line. She is a scorer that is unselfish as she will pass up shots if her teammate has a better shot.
