Built for 8A: The Names Defining North Carolina’s Biggest Stage

asset around the basket grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court.  She uses her length to be disruptive deflecting passes and blocking shots.  On offense, she shows off her strength attacking the basket and making tough shots through contact finishing old fashioned three point plays.  She knows how to fill the open lanes on fast breaks being ready for the pass and bucket.</p> <!-- playing like a leader for her team even in her short tenure in high school basketball.  She is an excellent shooter from deep making her range known to her opponents.  She does well with her ball handling to create the opening, or she is ready to shoot off the pass.  Her adjustments are fun to watch knowing what her defender might do to try to block her path, getting around them, and hitting 1000 point mile marker as well as coming down with 750 rebounds.  Each time she gets the ball in her hands, she knows how to size up the defense and work with what they show her pulling up for her midrange jumper or going to battle attacking the basket.  Her movements off the ball are always effective making her cuts and calling for the ball making sure she has a chance to get the ball through handler to watch with her shifty moves that are so effective against defenders.  Her high motor makes it difficult for anyone to keep up with her throughout an entire game, and she has a nice step back shot taking advantage of her quickness knocking down the shot from deep.  Her aggressiveness on defense pays off, too, grabbing steals to push the other direction.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!--
