One-seed Bradwell Institute is the lone undefeated team left in the state of Georgia. After graduating star Parris Parham, the Tigers haven't missed a beat. An athletic, multi-level, balanced attack features [player_tooltip player_id='1264352' first='Destini' last='McLemore'] (13.5 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 2.7 apg, 3.6 spg), [player_tooltip player_id='1264349' first='Ja'Nya' last='Bush'] (10.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 3.4 apg, 3.4 spg), [player_tooltip player_id='476476' first='Jamia' last='Ousley'] (9.6 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.7 apg, 2.9 spg), [player_tooltip player_id='1264427' first='Mikayla' last='Oliveira'] (9.2 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 2.1 spg) and [player_tooltip player_id='743550' first='Janiyah' last='Blevins'] (7.9 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 3.3 apg, 3.6 spg). The Tigers' unselfish deep roster wilts opponents. Bradwell Institute swept two-seed Brunswick, 73-45 and 63-47, breaking the last game open in the fourth quarter after leading 45-40 through three. Brunswick is powered by Martin [player_tooltip player_id='1242017' first='Davis' last=''], a D-II prospect averaging 15.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4.4 steals. The tough-nosed downhill attacker is flanked by length and athleticism in [player_tooltip player_id='1258316' first='Samyya' last='Gilbert'] (15.1 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 1.5 spg) and [player_tooltip player_id='1143207' first='Lauryn' last='Walker'] (6.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.2 apg, 2.5 spg, 1.4 bpg). [player_tooltip player_id='1258315' first='Jakai' last='Alston'] is a physical forward who can play all over the floor, posting 7.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.4 steals. Evans snagged the one-seed from the North subregion, the weaker of the two. Even with [player_tooltip player_id='541427' first='Chabria' last='Tate'] leaving for Laney in the offseason, the Knights have proved they are bigger than just one player with [player_tooltip player_id='1120417' first='Janiyah' last='Quiller'] (14.9 ppg, 7 rpg, 4 apg, 5.7 spg), [player_tooltip player_id='1121279' first='Kimariya' last='Hinton'] (10.9 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 3.1 spg) and Briyahnna Jones (8.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 2 spg, 1.4 bpg) leading the way. The three and four seeds heading into the state playoffs will be hotly contested with #3S Glynn Academy a threat, losing at Bradwell Institute 38-34 in overtime – the toughest the unblemished Tigers have been played. Alyssa Martin takes over games with her length and athleticism, collecting 13.9 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 5.4 steals per game. Don't sleep on 11-13 Greenbrier, the two-seed from the North. The trio of freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1276856' first='Cherish' last='Hunt'] (13.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg), junior [player_tooltip player_id='1275541' first='Emily' last='McMurray'] (13.1 ppg) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1215380' first='Jayla' last='Ayler'] (12.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 5.2 spg) is dangerous. #4S South Effingham can't be overlooked either at 13-12 and 1-7 in the subregion. The Mustangs started 12-2 before a 1-10 finish. [player_tooltip player_id='1538934' first='Kailyn' last='Chapman'] (12.3 ppg) is a quick shifty guard while [player_tooltip player_id='1182016' first='Hayden' last='Johanson'] (11.4 ppg, 7.7 rpg) is a lethal shooter.
