The first live period and the April evaluation window tipped off in a big way at Legends Event Center, an elite 8-court facility that set the stage for high-level girls travel basketball on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit for Session 1. From the run of show to the hospitality and branding, 3SSB continues to separate itself, and Day 1 wasted no time producing standout performances and talented gems ready to make noise this spring. Here are a few who set the tone on Day 1:    Macy has a really good frame and size for her position which allows her to play with a strong and physical presence on the court. She finished well through contact and showed an effective package around the rim with her strength. Macy consistently plays with a high motor and competes on every possession which shows up especially on the glass where she rebounds with effort and intensity. Her body control stands out both on the ground and in the air and allows her to adjust and finish plays effectively. In transition, she does a nice job pushing the ball ahead with the pass and keeping the pace moving. Defensively, she also makes her presence felt with well-timed blocked shots that add another layer to her impact.     Kennedy is incredibly quick and shifty and uses her burst and change of pace to consistently create advantages. She's a crafty finisher at the rim and has the ability to score over bigger players with touch and creativity. Her passing stands out as elite, especially in transition where she delivers with great feel and using precise angles when delivering the rock. Kennedy does a great job turning defense into offense by creating opportunities through deflections and steals. The motor is nonstop, and she plays with an infectious passion that makes her a fun player to watch. As a lead guard and focal point for opposing defenses, Kennedy embraces the pressure and still finds ways to impact the game at a high level.     Eadyn handled pressure with the ball well on Friday and showed composure and control even in tight situations. As a leader on a team still building chemistry, she does a strong job keeping everyone organized and connected. Quick with the ball in her hands, Eadyn facilitates at a high level and consistently makes the right reads as a passer. She gets the offense set with patience and poise and allows possessions to develop while staying in control. On the defensive end, she applies steady on-ball pressure with active hands and quick feet. Eadyn also rebounds well from the guard position which adds another layer of impact to her overall game.     Cailyn leads her 16U team both by example and with her communication and consistently setting the tone on the floor. She stepped up to make some big plays late in the game while showing confidence in key moments. Her activity level stood out as she kept possessions alive and finished well at the rim. Cailyn also showed strong intangibles by sprinting to help teammates up and bringing a team-first energy that doesn't go unnoticed.     Alysya can knock down the three ball even in tight windows and shows confidence with a quick, reliable release. She uses her body well to finish at the rim and plays through contact to create scoring opportunities inside. That physicality also helps her draw fouls on opponents by getting to the line and putting pressure on the defense. Alysya made an impact defensively as well by snagging some nice steals while pressing or after made baskets. The effort level stands out as she consistently brings energy and competes on both ends of the floor.     Valencia does a great job spacing the floor and consistently positioning herself to keep the defense honest. She is strong when putting the ball on the floor by attacking downhill with purpose and physicality. Once she gets going, Valencia is able to create for herself and others and shows the ability to score or facilitate depending on what the defense gives her.     Zoe plays up two age groups and rarely leaves the court and truly competes against older players and gaining valuable, high-level reps. She is strong putting the ball on the floor and getting downhill by using her physicality to create advantages. Around the rim, Zoe uses her strength and body well to create space and finish through contact. Her passing really stands out as she was one of the best facilitators I saw all weekend when showing excellent vision and the ability to consistently find teammates in the right spots.     Greenlee has a tight handle and keeps the ball on a string while doing a great job protecting it from defenders. She sees the floor well and consistently distributes the ball to the right spots while showing strong feel as a playmaker. A shifty guard, Greenlee uses her quickness and change of direction to create space and keep defenders off balance. She also crashes the boards and rebounds well for her position by adding extra possessions for her team. Greenlee plays with good pace and energy throughout, and her pull-up jumper looked smooth and effortless when she got to her spots.
