Alicia was flying all around the floor and putting restraints on opposing team's best scorers. She was constantly outperforming her duties plus she willingly stepped up to assist teammates too. Her effect on this side of the ball was absolutely invaluable.

[player_tooltip player_id='491815' first='Cassidy' last='Mullin'] (2026) | PG | TA

Mullin's foundational defense fostered an environment where young players banded together to get after it. It was her 'lead by example' attitude that stood out over many other aspects of her game. She made it her point to make ballhandlers uncomfortable and there were plenty of sacrifices made for the greater good of the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='970534' first='Lily' last='Davis'] (2028) | PG | TA

Lily has been widely known to be one of the best perimeter defenders in her class and that's still true. The sophomore raised her scoring prowess to new levels this season, but her defense was what helped propel that. Davis' combination of agility, open court burst, the ability to turn her hips and stay connected plus her pestering attitude make her a menacing defender that's going to give even the best guards some trouble.

[player_tooltip player_id='1051535' first='Alannah' last='Baehr'] (2027) | CG | SA

One of the more surprising players listed here. It's not because she didn't have the capacity to be great on this end though. It was just that her offensive versatility started to showcase itself which elevated her overall profile. Alannah went from potential to serious production really quickly. However, this season Alannah made it her point to focus in on the defensive end and it must be stated that she's been overly impressive on every level. Her activity on the wings, her timing as a help-defender plus her tendency to speed players up were on full display. Baehr was just named NEPSGBA Class B DPOY for her marvelous efforts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050255' first='Pearl' last='Dickson'] (2027) | C | Berkshire

With Pearl patrolling the paint, the Bears held opponents to an average of around 43 ppg. It's not just the blocks though, it's her ability to completely change the course of shots. Players can't just come into the paint with Dickson hanging around.
