Mya is a complete guard and an elite shot creator. She is really crafty, a great finisher, a highly skilled ball handler, and she doesn't get affected by contact. She is a good passer, and she is active defensively. Mya is a terrific rebounder for a guard, and she could be the best public school guard in Loudoun County. Mya had a few big-time performances in key spots this season, and she finished first team all-state in Class 4.

There may not be many players who come off the bench this season better than [player_tooltip player_id='786440' first='Janey' last='Salinas']. Janey can be in the clutch for a short-handed Osbourn Park team that was able to repeat as state champs. Janey has great size for a guard, and OP often used that size defensively in the paint in the final. She was clutch all year, knocking shots, but her defense and rebounding were big in the final. She was a first-team all-district selection, and she is stacking up D1 offers.

I saw [player_tooltip player_id='1797762' first='Ava' last='Ryan'] play a little last year, but her improvement to the point of her being on this list was not something I expected. Ava can play as a wing or big and is a natural athlete. She is already committed to Arkansas for soccer, and watching her play, you can see why. She has an all-around game, but I think her best skill is what she does after rebounds. She pushes the ball well and has great vision. She is a versatile defender and always plays hard, and finished the year first team all-state in class 5.

Potomac was dominant during the regular season, and you have to credit a big part of it to how good [player_tooltip player_id='1357632' first='Meme' last='Conteh'] was. Meme is an outstanding athlete and a tenacious rebounder. Meme is incredibly physical on both ends and does well finishing through bodies in the paint. She is a fluid mover and a real problem playing out of the low post. She can drive the ball past slower defenders, and her length and athleticism help her be a really impactful defender. Meme had multiple 20-rebound games, including a 30-point, 20-rebound game. Meme was the district player of the year in the Cardinal district and was one of the most impactful players in the area.

Another person who makes my first team in large part because of what they do on the glass is [player_tooltip player_id='1220032' first='Jocelynn' last='Kinlaw']. Jocelynn is a great athlete, and there are not many players in the state who play with the type of motor she has. Jocelynn had a couple of huge rebounding games, one of them being against Centreville in a big-time district matchup. Jocelynn is a good finisher and can step out and make short mid-range shots. She was first team all district and second team all region, and she was paramount to Oakton's success this season.
