has shot the ball at a high level throughout her career at
Virginia Academy
. In the final, she was lethal, knocking down a bunch of threes, and all year she was terrific for a VA Academy team that wasnt 100%. The range of her shooting is elite, and she is the type of off-ball guard that can open up your offense. She was first-team all-state and joins her teammate in my backcourt.

had a big day shooting the ball for
Virginia Academy
. Sydney did an excellent job moving off the ball, and the
Virginia Academy
players did an awesome job screening for her. She had some outstanding range on a couple of her threes, and she hit one from range with a few minutes left that felt like a dagger. She had 22 points and closed her senior season the same way she’s played throughout her career at VA Academy.

Moore delivered a championship-level shooting performance, finishing with 22 points. She set the tone early with a 3-pointer and never cooled off. She knocked down six 3’s in total, including multiple contested shots that shifted momentum and helped Virginia Academy build separation in the second half. Beyond her perimeter shooting, she found space inside for a key late basket and converted free throws down the stretch. Her scoring burst proved to be the difference-maker as Virginia Academy created its first double-digit lead in the fourth quarter.

Sydney has the quickest release I’ve seen this season, making her especially dangerous as a spot-up deep-ball shooter. Defenders have little margin for error, as any hesitation quickly turns into points.
She also has the ability to put the ball on the floor or use a ball screen to pull up from different areas of the court, adding another layer to her offensive threat. Thursday night, she finished with 12 points, all from behind the arc, reinforcing how impactful her shooting can be even without needing a high volume of touches.

had some nice range with her shot, and she did well anticipating what her opponents are doing grabbing steals in transition. She was certainly on fire from deep hitting threes right when her team needed it, and her shots usually led to a timeout by the opposing team. She played tough attacking the basket and constantly moving to find the opening on offense.

Is a lights-out shooter who also plays solid defense. Her dribbling skills have improved as well, especially given her size and length, making her a versatile player who can contribute in multiple areas on the court. Has a lot of physical traits and won’t be shocked for she has a big season for Virginia Academy this coming year!

is a lights-out shooter who thrives spotting up from three. Virginia Academy has very good penetrators, and Sydney fits well with them. In VA Academy’s blowout win over Pallotti, Sydney knocked down 5 threes and finished with 15 points. Sydney is another guard on this VA Academy team who impressed me.

is an excellent shooter and has gotten much better recently. She will play a more significant role this year at Virginia Academy. Some of the improvements she’s made as a 1v1 scorer could be on display this weekend, and she should be one of the better players this weekend.

is a fantastic 3-point shooter that has excellent range. She will have a significant role next season playing at Virginia Academy. You can check her out this AAU season, playing two levels up on PVT Thunder 17U. Her game revolves around her shooting, but I’ve seen flashes of her developing other parts of her game. If she does that, she will find herself in the rankings.
