Ray Kimball and Evan originally came together to create the first Headliners Invitational Showcase in November of 2023, and after stepping away in 2024, their belief in its purpose only grew stronger, leading to its return with the goal of becoming a lasting part of the community. I'm incredibly thankful to be included in something that carries so much intention and impact. The idea for Headliners developed from watching elite camps and prospect camps across the state—while there were valuable elements like live gameplay, scrimmaging, and structured exposure opportunities, there always seemed to be a gap in fully connecting players with meaningful recruiting visibility. Headliners was built to bridge that gap, centered around the mission of helping girls basketball prospects be seen and recruited by college coaches in a more complete and purposeful way.
