<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Best Overall Team</h2>   Davis Pirates   Davis delivered the most complete performance of the quarterfinal round with a 76-56 win over Lake Stevens. The Pirates controlled the game offensively and on the glass, finishing with a 46-33 rebounding advantage and scoring 24 points from three-point range.   Davis also forced turnovers and converted them into scoring opportunities, finishing with 23 points off turnovers. When a team wins both the rebounding and possession battles in the state tournament, it usually controls the game the way Davis did.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Most Dominant Victory</h2>   Kennedy Catholic Lancers def. Gonzaga Prep 65-52   Kennedy Catholic produced one of the most decisive wins of the round with a strong offensive performance. The Lancers shot efficiently and knocked down six three-pointers while finishing 17-of-21 from the free throw line.   Their ability to score consistently allowed them to build separation in the second half. When a team combines perimeter shooting with efficient free throw scoring, it becomes very difficult for opponents to close the gap.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Biggest Surprise</h2>   Sumner Spartans def. Union Titans 58-53   Sumner delivered one of the most competitive wins of the round with a five-point victory over Union. The Spartans built a double-digit lead in the first half and held off a late push from the Titans.   Sumner controlled the glass with a 40-23 rebounding advantage and scored 32 points in the paint. That physical presence inside helped the Spartans maintain control throughout the game.matchup was from start to finish. In tight state tournament games, execution in extra possessions often determines the result.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Impact Players from the Round</h2>    Haywood delivered one of the most explosive scoring performances of the round with 32 points. She shot 10-of-23 from the field, knocked down three three-pointers, and went 9-of-11 from the free throw line.   Even in a loss, Haywood carried a major offensive load and consistently created scoring opportunities for the Titans.     Garcia led the Pirates with 24 points and knocked down four three-pointers. She also added seven rebounds while helping Davis stretch the defense with perimeter shooting.   Her scoring helped Davis build offensive momentum during the second half as the Pirates pulled away.     Hull produced one of the most complete stat lines of the round with 22 points, 18 rebounds, and seven assists. She controlled the interior while also facilitating the offense for the Pirates.   When a player contributes across scoring, rebounding, and playmaking like that, it often defines a team's overall performance.     Fitzgerald delivered a dominant scoring performance with 32 points while shooting 11-of-23 from the field. She also knocked down two three-pointers and converted eight free throws.   Her ability to create offense throughout the game helped Kennedy Catholic maintain control and secure the quarterfinal win.     Benthin led Lake Washington with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the Kangaroos' victory over Woodinville. She shot efficiently from the field and converted nine of ten free throws.   Her scoring and rebounding helped stabilize Lake Washington during key stretches of the game.
