After a slow start by her lofty standards, Miles proceeded to take the game over. Making play after play to help with a rally, build a double digit lead and then win the contest. Her three point shooting was spotty. But she had the confidence to pull up from well beyond the arc and drain a go ahead three with about 2 minutes left in the game. Her clutchness continued, as with about a minute left and down one, she picked an opponent's pocket, then was fouled on her layup attempt. She proceeded to hit both at the line to put JYD up 1. A moment later she made a big block at the rim that helped secure the victory.

Miles has already earned a handful of Power 4 offers this past winter because of her combination of athleticism and do it all aspects. Her touch and vision on passes has continued to improve, making her even more of a teammate elevator. Great reads to cutting teammates in the halfcourt and always is looking to find teammates in transition.

Plays like a free safety on defense, which does lead to some brilliance with teleporting for steals or blocks. But in this contest it did lead to a giving up a few open looks from three that appeared to be the result of her floating away from the three point line. There's so much to like about Miles' skillset and approach that in some ways it's nit picking. But it's fine margins for the levels between good and great.

Flight got off to a hot start and it was with Brantley at the controls. A couple early paint touches from her led to easy three pointers for her teammates. Then she added in a couple threes of her own. Her quickness and handles even gave quality defenders on the otherside pause. As she can glide by opponents or pull up and drain jumpers with ease.

It wasn't always easy for Brantley though, as it was a physical contest and at times she had issues with turnovers. Including a tough one in the final minute where she floated a crosscourt pass that was picked off. It was a learning experience for one of the top prospects in Oklahoma. Her eagerness to blend her scoring bag with setting up teammates speaks very well to her long term potential as a Power 4 prospect.

Barrett started the game on fire from three, then gradually added more buckets. Fundamentally sound driver, plays smooth and in control on drives. Capable of stopping and popping in the 8-15 foot range for pull ups. Or playing strong and off of two feet around the rim. There's few things she can't do on the offensive end, and brings a well polished approach to both ends of the court.

Sudbeck is a D1 prospect in Oklahoma's Class of 2028 because she keeps it simple. Her contributions came in familiar ways. Spot up threes and hitting the glass. While also running the floor and being a gritty defender. Has a real nose to be in the right spot at right times. Good positioning to help contest or block shots at the rim. While also using her long arms to impact passing lanes. She's also seemingly always running down long rebounds or battling in traffic for boards. One of the best examples of how starring in a role can lead to a huge impact.

Don't leave Reese open! She was one of the most consistent shooters in the competitive Sunday morning contest. Good release and form, unbothered by close outs. Even occasionally attacking them, taking a dribble of two and hitting in the mid-range. Reese is an ideal floor spacing guard and weapon for her talented 16U team.

Inhofe's gritty play helped turn around JYD's slow start. She's all action on the defensive end. Applying on the ball pressure, either out right taking the ball or her quick trapping leading to bad passes. Unselfish and smart with her offensive decisions. There's a lot to like about her attention to detail on the defensive end. It wasn't her best shooting weekend, but she did have strong shooting performances at the high school level this winter. If she can combine her defensive impact with a good shoot performance this weekend in Houston, she could be a very popular name for college coaches.

An athletic wing, Whited made her mark all over the court. She's an active defender, making blocks around the rim or guarding on the perimeter. One good display of her athleticism came when she blocked a shot, scooped up the loose ball and pushed it ahead, leading a three for her teammate. Shot it well in this contest as a spot up threat. Also capable of putting it on the floor and attacking close out. Looks to be a sleeper from Missouri who could break out this spring.

When JYD's offense was stalled out to start the game, the Fort Gibson Lady Tiger brought the scoring spark off the bench. She's a bruiser around the rim with boards and physical play on defense. But don't judge a book by her cover. She's a rising stretch forward, with good shooting touch out to the three point line. Has a mean mid-range game off of face up drives. And great touch around the rim, even when taking contested shots. Type of player who consistently leaves her fingerprints all of the court while impacting winning.
