Fayth Sullivan is off the board to D2 - Wayne State out of Nebraska. Sullivan, a 5'9 CG, has been filling up the stat sheets at the Varsity level for several years now at North Polk. Last season she posted an impressive stat line while trying to help her team win every game that they could as an off-guard. She moved between the 2 and 3 spot primary, showing her versatile at any opportunity on both sides of the basketball. She was one of the team leaders that everyone else looked up to in big moments and she didn't disappoint. We have had a D2 grade on Sullivan for a few years now so I'm glad that everything lined up so that she can call Wayne State her home for the foreseeable future.

The energy that Hayden Kuhlmann brings with her whenever she competes is noteworthy and contagious. Everyone around her understands that she is always working her opponent coming down the floor off the dribble while looking to set up her team's offense and to hit one of her open teammates with a nice assist in one way or another. Spirit Lake has been a team that has always been competitive since I've been around the last five seasons. They play the right way and that's what you see when you evaluate Kuhlmann. She doesn't force any crazy unneeded action and she seems to always make the smart play in whatever situation she is in so I'm expecting more of the same when she steps onto the collegiate floor with NAIA - Dordt in a couple of years.

Another recent commitment for Wayne State out of the Nebraska area is Ansley Elofson of Fort Calhoun High School. Elofson is a 6'0 PF with some dominance and finesse by the bucket. Offensively, she is good at outworking those around her, she knows how to finish through contact, and she can attack from about 15FT away from the hoop. Defensively, she is can wall up the middle and control the pace of play, she rebounds at a steady rate, and she is very good at coming over from help-side to alter shot attempts when her teammates might happen to get beat. Overall as a player, there is a lot to like out of Elofson. She brings a lot of possibilities and options to the floor on both ends and that's something you love to see.

One of the state's best prospects out of the 2027 Class in Nebraska is off the board with the commitment of Mollie Probasco to D2 Nebraska-Kearney. Probasco would be considered a lengthy CG/SF. She has such smooth skill with her guard-like ability that it's hard to label her as a SF. She moves to the perimeter a good amount within her team's systems and I would expect the same to be happening at the next level as well. I don't know how Coach Drew see's her fit within his program but this is a really solid commitment out of an in-state prospect for Kearney. They had a couple of their previous players move into the transfer portal to try and move up after a successful Winter just a few months ago so there is a lot of room for opportunity in the near future here and I'm sure that's something that really excites Probasco.

You might not of heard the name Addy Johnson last season at the high school level because she was committed and already playing at Wayne State following her high school career. As of recent, Johnson has entered the portal and she just found her new home in Dakota State for the next two/three years. Johnson is a solid prospect with height, a soft touch, good coordination, and a lot of heart. She works really hard on the inside to make plays as a scoring threat, passer, and defender. If Dakota Valley can make some moves and continue to develop Johnson, she is going to be a handful to deal with over the next couple of seasons to finish off her college basketball career but we will just have to wait and see what happens.
