[player_tooltip player_id='1226707' first='Paetyn' last='Peterson'] joins up with this program this AAU season out of the North Liberty area and she has already stepped up to prove that she is going to be one of their top producers throughout the Spring and Summer. Just this last weekend, during the first live period of the Spring, Peterson went off while basically averaging a double-double near the bucket. This is a prospect that has good size for her age and better than average skill as well. She is pretty versatile with positioning on the court but she definitely thrives in the middle of the lane or playing off the elbow more than anywhere else right now. When you pair that with her determination to get things done under the hoop, you see the future promise. Like I said above, this past weekend was a big confidence builder for this group as a whole and for Peterson individually. She showed her worth and she won't be looking back anytime soon.

This AAU season is going to be one of growth for [player_tooltip player_id='1214538' first='Zella' last='Evans'] of CCA High School. Evans is coming off of a respectable Freshman campaign with her Clipper team, where we saw glimpses of some really good ball out of the SG/PG. Now it's all about how she builds on that early production. If you look at Evans as a competitor, she is scrappy and loves making plays for those around her. She isn't the type to take forced shots or anything of that nature. Instead, she lets the game come to her and she makes good decisions a majority of the time out there. Evans is going to be a great addition to this program this season. She plays the game the right way and she is going to be looked at to produce this upcoming Winter at CCA with the roster they return so all of this experience is going to be good for her in the long run.

You could debate that [player_tooltip player_id='1204333' first='Lucy' last='Terrones'] had one of the best Freshman season's as a whole out of this group this past Winter at Gilbert High School. Terrones wasn't the main star of their action but she made plays that set the tone and helped them compete every single night they laced up their kicks so it's not crazy to think that she can really make somethings happen on the road with this group this AAU season. This is a PG/SG, that understands how to run some complicated systems offensively. She leads with pace of play whenever the ball is in her position but she also loves to push the ball in transition off of a missed shot and rebound. All in all, this is ANOTHER really solid piece to the puzzle that is the Missouri Phenom 15U Iowa Hub team. A piece that is going to help them win a lot of games over the next few months by the looks of it.

[player_tooltip player_id='885073' first='Lydia' last='Keller'] is a shot taker and a shot maker. She is another hooper at this early age who really plays the game of Basketball the correct way. Keller was a vital piece to CCA High School's State Run this last season, making but shots from the outside and in the midrange at the drop of a hat. It didn't matter if she was cold off the bench or scorching hot from deep, when she received open attempts the last four months, she was cash in most instances. This is one of those players that can really full up the bucket while being steady on defense at her position. As long as this Phenom group plays freely this Spring/Summer, she should get several chances to shine down the stretch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1092008' first='Elynn' last='Hemann'] is FAST. Which makes sense as she is a multiple sport athlete that excels on the track field by the looks of it from afar. Hemann is a known sprinter. She has long strides, she is always extremely adaptable to a situation, and she is UBER athletic of her position. Whenever you have a prospect like Hemann, they can be used in several different ways. Usually they are great defenders in the full court cause they don't get tired super easily and they can turn things into a quick burst of energy going the other way. This team is running a spread out sort of system so that's going to lead to a bunch of transition buckets for Hemann and Company. She knows how to finish at the rim and she is going to beat almost everyone down the floor so as long as they find her with a solid pass, the rest will be history.

I like the game that TeBockhorst plays out on the hardwood. She isn't super flashy or in it for praise. She just goes out on the court and tries to make plays in one way or another. She seems to be someone that does a good job listening to what her coaches want out of her and she isn't the type that is going to cost you the game with several stupid mistakes in a row. TeBock has been steady to start off this AAU season. She put up some good numbers over the last few days and I think she will put up even more efficient numbers with time as everyone starts to figure out their roles on this squad.

We saw [player_tooltip player_id='885996' first='Delaney' last='Pauly'] featured this weekend on this team because of her ability to step into opportunities. Offensively she played primarily off of the ball and she converted when asked too. She also rebounded the rock at a steady pass throughout the contests, even though she wasn't the tallest individual on the floor. I think you are going to realize sooner or later that this is team of selfless players so as long as everyone makes smart decisions when the shot clock is winding down, most of them are going to thrive over the next few months with how things are run within this program. Players just like Pauly.

You have to like the size and shooting stroke of Raleigh Bartron of CR - Xavier High School. Barton is a 5'9 SG with length for her size. She has a sweet shooting stroke from deep on offense but at the same time, she can put the rock on the ground and get all the way to the hoop whenever she is overplayed on her jumper. Barton has been steadily progressing over the past calendar year. She has demonstrated that she can handle more and more responsibility as she gets older and that's how it should be. She can also handle the ball when pressured, she gets her hands on a lot of tips on defense that lead to deflections, and she never gives up on a possession until the whistle blows. These are intangibles that you love to see out of someone at this level. If she keeps working hard like this, she is going to continue to get better and that could lead to some special seasons ahead at CR - Xavier before you know it.

We first got our eyes on Duello last Spring in a showcase in Cedar Rapids. She came in and was one of the most sound players in the gym. I'm glad to report back that over her last 8th grade season of ball she has made great progressions while still being someone that plays the game fundamentally more than anything else. This is another guard that can GO. When she see's a shot fall and she has that confidence, she is tough to stop, no doubt about that. Her work ethic is something else to point out. Duello puts in that work in her off-time. She is a gym rat and she loves the game of Basketball for what it is, which is a refreshing thing to see in today's game.

One of the real sleeper on this team might be [player_tooltip player_id='1831416' first='Hannah' last='Kellogg']. Kellogg has good range, quick feet that readjust in a split second off the catch, and a ton of natural ability to her game. She has a sweet shooting stroke from the Wing on the outside and can also get to the bucket for a crafty finish if need be. We have seen her take several complicated finishing attempts in the past and every time she does, it seems extremely natural no matter the situation put in front of her. Defensively, she is no slouch and she is always willing to step up for a challenge against a great offensive opponent.
