Under-the-Radar Names in the Class of 2027 Wisconsin AAU Scene

The AAU season is about to get into full swing over the next two weeks, with the first live period coming up in a few weeks. I want to highlight a handful of players heading into the grassroots season who could impress coaches at the next level. We'll look at a few names from off the beaten path in every class who could impress coaches at the next level.   [player_tooltip player_id='876098' first='Jaedyn' last='Zdroik']   The Pacelli guard led her Cardinals team to a State Championship this past season and recorded a triple-double in the D5 Championship Game. Zdroik is a physically gifted lead guard who can play through contact and handle the ball under pressure. She sees the floor well and makes the right choices with the ball in her hands. She is also a kid who contributes to every facet of the game, which should catch some attention over the spring and summer.   [player_tooltip player_id='1219523' first='Avery' last='Richard']   The Platteville guard is an intriguing guard who handles the ball well and does a solid job creating off the dribble. Over her career with the Hillmen, she has been an excellent creator who has gotten her teammates open looks at the basket. I have loved how confident she has been with the ball in her hands and how aggressive she has been getting downhill and forcing defenses into uncomfortable positions. She can add a lot to a team on both ends of the floor.   [player_tooltip player_id='874375' first='Aubryn' last='Clark']   The Rhinelander guard will play her club basketball over the western border in Minnesota for North Tartan, and I believe she is healthy heading into her final AAU season. The Hodag has been one of the top scorers in the state and has led her team into the second weekend of the postseason. She may be a player from off the beaten path, and has been a high-usage offensive player, but she can help her team win games, which is the most important thing.   [player_tooltip player_id='751252' first='Carrington' last='Balthasar']   The Whitefish Bay guard has been an off-ball guard on the offensive end for the Blue Dukes and has earned a greater role over the past three seasons. Balthasar played a crucial role in the Blue Dukes run to the State Championship this past season, making an important defensive play at the buzzer to help close the D2 Championship Game. She is also a player who can space the floor and knock down perimeter shots.
