Year 6 of the PGH Peach Games brings another loaded weekend of travel club action to the Marietta area, with talent spread across multiple gyms and matchups that matter from the opening tip. Friday night set the tone with high-level battles, and early Saturday continued that momentum as some of the top 17U groups took the floor. This coverage leans into the older divisions, where college-ready prospects, nationally ranked names, and under-the-radar risers all shared the spotlight. With depth across pools and no shortage of competitive matchups, this weekend once again proves why Peach Games has become a staple on the spring event season in the Southeast. Here are some 17U names that stood out in early action:

Michelle brought strong energy on the glass by skying for rebounds on both ends with intensity. On the offensive boards, she did a great job either tipping the ball in or quickly elevating for putbacks. She has a nice stroke that keeps defenders honest and a strong frame that allows her to play through contact. She finished well at the rim, consistently kept plays alive, and made her presence felt defensively with a few big, emphatic blocks.

Makayla shot the ball efficiently from beyond the arc and consistently stretched the defense. She thrived getting downhill, where she was able to create not only for herself but also distribute to her teammates. When attacking, she showed touch with her runner and was effective in the lane. She handled the ball well, using her shiftiness and change of pace to keep defenders off balance.

Ashley impressed with her activity and strength, especially on the glass where she showed great elevation by creating extra possessions on the offensive end. She made a standout read jumping a passing lane for a steal, then got to two feet in transition to finish from a strong, controlled position. Her frame is solid with the strength to handle contact, and consistently looked to get downhill and pressure the rim. Ashley played within the flow and kept it unselfish, making the right reads for her team.

Jayda has a strong frame with good length that consistently impacted the game on both ends. She rebounded at a high level and used her size well to protect the rim by altering and blocking shots. Offensively, she played within herself, didn't force looks, and made solid decisions with the ball. Showed physicality in the paint by carving out space to create quality finishes inside.
