Summer Hoops Radar Watch: Class of 2029 Centers

She does a good job at establishing herself in good positions for boards and using her size at 6'3" to her advantage. In 26 logged games, she averaged 8.3 rebounds per game. One of her best rebounding performances came against Southwind High School where she had 16 rebounds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams is also a good interior scoring threat. She does well playing through contests when in the paint. In 26 games, she averaged 11.4 points per game. She averaged a double-double on the season and is already establishing herself as one of the best rebounders in the state. Reano has good fundamentals and finds a way to get inside position even when the paint is crowded. One of her best rebounding games was against Oakdale High School, where she had 19 boards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reano on offense is mainly an interior scoring threat. Her aggressiveness on the boards translates to some second-chance scoring chances and also just helps her in regular scoring chances. This gives her guards a clean target to pass to, and when Gordon gets in a post-up situation, she is confident and efficient. Gordon, in these post-ups, has a great drop step move that she can use to get a good look at a layup. Her knack for rebounding also leads to scoring on occasion, with second-chance buckets. One of her better games of last season came against Battle Ground Academy. She had 18 points and 15 rebounds in the contest.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gordon on defense is a good backline defender. She does a great job of stepping up and cutting off a driving guard before they get too far into the paint. In these scenarios, Gordon often generates blocks. She runs the floor notably good and also does a great job after rebounding in delivering a quick outlet pass to one of her guards. Her speed also allows her to pick off passes at a good rate. In a game against Lake County High School last season, she had four steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>King on offense can score effectively on the inside, but is capable of knocking down perimeter jumpers at 6'0". She does a great job at keeping her hand extended and affecting other players' shots without fouling.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On offense, Blood showed the ability to knock down 3-pointers.
