Midrange Assassin — [player_tooltip player_id='515064' first='Kathleen' last='Crawley']

Crawley is already recognized as one of the top three-point shooters in the state, but she is quietly building a reputation as one of the most dangerous midrange shooters as well. Crawley's ability to maneuver to the paint, create space, and stop and pop is special. More impressive is the degree of difficulty on many of those shots. Defenders are often in good position, yet Crawley still gets the shot off and makes it look easy at times. Because Crawley can shoot the three with great efficiency, her ability to punish defenses in the midrange makes her dangerous and "deadly." For that reason, the "Midrange Assassin" superlative belongs to Crawley.

Green has a way of impacting a game without scoring a point. Her energy, toughness, and defensive intensity help establish the tone from the opening tip. Green takes charges, pressures ball handlers, battles for loose balls, and loves to embrace the physical part of the game. She can play this way because of her athleticism, speed, strength, and mental edge. Furthermore, Green has a relentless motor and a competitive spirit that can energize teammates and frustrate an opponent. When that opponent has a similar mindset, you know there will be fireworks. Every successful team needs a player willing to do the hard work, and Green fills that role exceptionally well. When it comes to setting the tone with effort, toughness, and defense, Green stood out throughout the FABC Showcase.

Human Highlight Reel — [player_tooltip player_id='972357' first='Jayla' last='Griffin']

Griffin is a point guard's best friend. Throw the ball anywhere in her vicinity, and she's getting it with her unmatched vertical. More than likely, when she lands, she will leap over the defender in a single bound for the bucket. That's not out of the ordinary for Griffin to do, and it's those types of plays that make her one of the most coveted players in the 2027 class. Griffin has blazing speed, and in the open court, she is one of the toughest players to defend. In the half-court setting, she can post up, play the wing, and initiate the offense.

Flash back to the State Championship tournament, where Hall disrupted the game plans in the semi-finals and the finals. Players were hesitant driving to the basket, and when they did, shots were sent flying the other way. Hall is long, agile, and ferocious on defense. At the FABC, it was more of the same. She blocked shots and controlled the paint. Even when she wasn't credited with a block, opponents were forced to adjust their shots and hesitate driving whenever she was nearby. For her ability to turn the lane into a no-drive zone, Hall earns the "Block Party" superlative.

Valle dribbled the ball deep on the right elbow and waited for her teammate near the baseline to set the pick. The defender felt the pick about to happen and looked down. By the time the defender looked back up, Valle had raised and buried a three-pointer from 3 feet behind the arc. Valle is one of the top shooters in the 2027 class, and a lot of her shots come from downtown. Last season, she knocked down 62 three-pointers while also averaging 4.3 assists per game, proving she can create opportunities for teammates as well. At the FABC, Valle displayed leadership, court vision, and long-range shooting, the area where she earned the superlative " Queen of Range. "

The biggest takeaway was the quick decision-making and the confidence to shoot the jumper in any situation, including in transition. Whether spotting up, coming off screens, or pulling up in transition, Deegan never hesitated at the FABC when the opportunity presented itself. Everything about her shot looked smooth and effortless, from the quick release to the follow-through, earning her the superlative "Smooth Sniper."

Green is one of those players who does a little bit of everything and contributes in a variety of ways. At the FABC showcase, Green shjowed can handle the ball, knock down the three-pointer, rebound, defend multiple positions, and make the extra play when her team needs it. She has always displayed these skills, which is one reason her team has made it to back-to-back state championships. Green's value comes from her versatility and ability to fill multiple roles on the floor. Whatever her team needs on a given possession, Green seems capable of providing it, earning her the "Swiss Army Knife" superlative.
