Throughout the spring tournament season, there simply weren't enough articles to highlight every player who deserved recognition. As I traveled from gym to gym evaluating talent, I filled my notebook with observations on players who stood out through their skill, effort, basketball IQ, and overall impact on the game. While many prospects were featured in previous writeups, several strong performances remained tucked away in my notes. Rather than let those evaluations go unnoticed, this article highlights some of the players who caught my attention this spring and earned a well-deserved spot in the spotlight.

My first opportunity to watch Allie came at the PGH Michigan Tour – Grand Valley, and she immediately made a strong impression. The [program_tooltip program_id='714462' first='Michigan' last='Premier'] standout possesses a physical style of play, attacking the basket with strength and confidence while finishing through contact. She showed her versatility as a scorer by stepping out and knocking down a smooth step-back three coming off a screen, proving she can be effective both inside and out. Around the basket, Allie displayed polished footwork and a strong feel for creating scoring angles. When defenses collapsed on her in the paint, she remained poised and made the right reads, finding open teammates with timely passes. In a tight game, she delivered a clutch three-pointer, converted multiple and-one opportunities, and consistently generated extra possessions through offensive rebounds and put-backs. Her combination of toughness, skill, and production made her one of the more memorable performers I saw at the event.

Jayla was a highly productive presence for Michigan Storm, consistently finding ways to score and control the glass. She was especially effective operating from the high post, where she attacked decisively off the dribble and got to the basket with ease. Once in the paint, Jayla displayed excellent finishing fundamentals, keeping the ball protected and converting opportunities around the rim. She also did a great job establishing position on the block, using strong seals to create scoring chances for herself. Beyond her offensive production, Jayla made a significant impact on the boards, collecting rebounds at a high rate on both ends of the floor and providing her team with valuable extra possessions throughout the game.

Evelyn is a versatile guard who brings an intriguing blend of size, athleticism, and two-way production to the floor for Mystics. Her length allows her to impact the game in multiple areas, particularly on the glass where she consistently tracks down rebounds and helps her team finish possessions. Offensively, she showed a polished mid-range game, rising comfortably into pull-up jumpers and knocking them down with confidence. Defensively, Evelyn uses her athleticism and reach to cover ground, disrupt passing lanes, and make things difficult for opposing players. Her combination of size, skill, and defensive versatility makes her a player capable of contributing in a variety of roles.

Addison provided a strong presence in the paint for Dream Loudly with her effort, physicality, and activity around the basket. The forward consistently battled on the glass, creating extra possessions with multiple offensive rebounds and making opponents work for every board. Defensively, she protected the rim well, using her timing and instincts to come up with several blocks. Around the basket, Addison showed impressive touch and versatility, finishing plays with either hand and converting opportunities in traffic. Her work ethic and willingness to do the dirty work made her a valuable contributor every time she stepped on the floor.

Sophie has been one of the players who consistently finds her way into my notebook every time I watch Dream Loudly. The guard possesses good size and a well-rounded skill set that allows her to impact the game in a variety of ways. She handles the ball with confidence, creates space off the dribble, and does a great job getting downhill where she can finish through traffic and contact. Sophie is equally effective as a scorer from the perimeter, showing the ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc as well as pull up in the mid-range. On the defensive end, she competes with toughness and physicality, making life difficult on opposing guards. Her combination of size, skill, and two-way impact has made her one of the more impressive players I've evaluated multiple times this spring.
