Over the last few years, the NCAA has instituted a "Scholastic Live Period" over one June weekend, where college coaches are allowed to view potential recruits. Prospects may participate in events operated by their high school association or their state's coaches association. The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) has entrusted this to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA), and the IBCA has operated both the Top 100 individual showcase, and a team showcase held at Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern high schools. Friday marked the first day of the team showcase, and with 117 teams from around the state participating this year, there was plenty of action taking place all day Friday and Saturday. Below are some additional Central Indiana prospects who stood out throughout the team showcase this weekend.

Oak Hill made it back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and the Class 2A State Finals again this year, and Kora was a key starter in their lineup. She was good over the weekend, and she is a talented small college prospect who should draw some interest following her play. She is long, wiry-strong, bouncy, and she can get out and run. She's a nice slasher offensively, but she can also knock down a rhythm jumper. Defensively, she can be used in trapping situations, where she can cause problems with her timing, length, and bounce, but she can also sit down and defend the ball well.

Maia is one of those guards coaches love to have in their rotation because she is always solid and rarely makes a bad decision. She is strong, compact, and a really nice athlete in all directions, plus she plays on-balance. She is good with the basketball, doesn't force the action, but when she makes up her mind, her passes are crisp and on-target, and she uses the bounce pass as much/more than other guards I see regularly. She has followed in the footsteps of former Noblesville star Reagan Wilson and communicates well on the floor, plus she is an active and aggressive defensive player, on and off the ball.

I have enjoyed following Amaya's progression over the past couple of years, and she has spent this Spring and Summer really showcasing how hard she will work, plus she has played stronger with the ball, and she looks like she has become more naturally fluid in all of her movements. She has always worked on her skill, she's able to push it on occasion in transition, and she has face-up skill in the half-court. Her ability to play "taller" than shorter defenders in the paint, plus her ability to step out and make shots or play off the bounce are making her a tough matchup for many opponents.

Chami's transfer from Indianapolis Pike to Ben Davis was one of the more impactful ones this Summer, as she could very well step into the Lady Giants' lineup and be a star right away. She is a strong, athletic, but highly skilled combo guard. She has a pure and pretty jump-shot, but she also has the talent and skill to attack the basket, change directions in traffic, and finish around the rim. She is equally effective defensively, where she can defend the ball or create steals from "help side". This weekend she was contributing in a variety of ways for a BDHS program looking to get up and down quickly.

A few schools have seen players come and go this Summer, Fishers being one of them, but sometimes it opens up opportunities for younger players to step up, and Tatum is taking advantage of that. She has really good North/South speed, quickness, and she has nice length at her height. She changed one game with her ability to almost be a 1-person press, creating havoc for the opposing ball-handler. She played with a ton of effort and energy, but she was also under control and didn't really force anything at the offensive end. She could see a nice role in the Tiger rotation this Winter.
