Chami was one of many talented backcourt players at Pike High School this season. Still, though, she was able to carve out a solid role on a team that was highly ranked all season. Ben Davis was rather young, starting three Freshmen much of the year, but Chami should help them immediately. She has big-time grassroots experience to lean on, plus she is a really nice athlete, she can handle it and run offense from time to time. Additionally, she is a very good defender, both in terms of her effort and understanding. She will be one to keep an eye on next year.

As is the case with many of the Pike underclassmen, the Red Devils are just loaded with talent right now, so they are getting glimpses of Varsity action while they prepare for bigger moments in the future. Chami should be primed for a big Junior year at Pike, as she is a talented athlete, with strength, toughness, and good all-around skill. She is a legitimate multilevel scorer who can make shots outside (36% from ‘3’) or get downhill and finish at the basket through contact. She’s also a high-level defender who can frustrate opposing ball-handlers. She has drawn quite a bit of attention this Spring.

After watching three games of Chami “Mimi” Williams at Live at the Lakepoint, it became very clear that she is a true competitor. Williams consistently brought energy and toughness on both sides of the basketball while making winning plays throughout each game.
Offensively, she had an outstanding start to the tournament. Williams opened the event with a strong 24-point performance in Game 1, followed it up with 23 points in Game 2, and added another 17 points in Game 3. Her scoring ability was on full display as she attacked the basket aggressively, played through contact, and found ways to create offense in big moments.
What stood out most was her willingness to do whatever her team needed to win. She was not just focused on scoring, but also making the right reads and putting teammates in great positions offensively. Defensively, her competitiveness and effort continued to show throughout all three games as she stayed active and brought consistent intensity.
Williams played with confidence and never looked afraid of the moment. Her ability to impact the game in multiple ways made her one of the more impressive performers watched online during the event. With the way she competed and produced offensively, Chami “Mimi” Williams continues to prove she is a player worth keeping a close eye on moving forward.

Chami made difficult plays look very easy on the offensive end finishing through contact and over and around defenders in the paint. She plays with a lot of poise and patience and did a nice job picking the right spots and times to attack the defense. United NJ had no solution defensively to keeping MiMi out of the paint where she did damage the entire game for TJ Perry’s WV Thunder team. She didn’t waste a lot of time with flashy moves, just made one or two to draw the defender closer or to get them to back off, before attacking the basket with smooth fluidity. Her finishes at the rim were on the move and in traffic, but Williams converted them with ease. She had multiple finishes with And One opportunities and could have scored more if she were not such an unselfish player. She is a very talented kid that I look forward to seeing play again soon.

is a player I’ve really enjoyed watching this season. What stands out most about her game is her ability to step up when her team needs a basket when you need someone to score, Chami is the player you want handling the ball. She plays with confidence and poise, making smart decisions every time she touches the ball.
Watching her this past weekend, it was clear how much of an impact she can have on the floor. She knows how to create scoring opportunities for herself while also involving her teammates, and she does it all with efficiency and composure. With her ability to consistently score and influence the game in multiple ways, Chami is going to draw significant attention from college coaches this year. She’s the type of player who can carry a team and make a difference every time she steps on the court.

Chami was one of the most consistent performers throughout the weekend, making a strong impression with her overall impact on the game. Regardless of the flow or pace, she stayed composed and continued to play her game, which translated directly to her team’s success.
She has a smooth, controlled style of play and does a great job getting to her spots offensively to score the basketball. Her ability to operate within the offense while still being a reliable scoring option makes her a key piece on the floor.
Chami’s presence and performance set the tone, and when she is playing at a high level, her team tends to follow. She is definitely a player who is enjoyable to watch and worth continued attention moving forward.

play during the Sophomore Showcase last September, where she stood out as one of the top performers. That confidence and production translated once again in Pike’s matchup against Zionsville.
Coming off the bench, Williams was one of Pike’s most impactful players, finishing with 10 points while knocking down every shot she attempted. While her ability to score the basketball is evident, what stands out most is the confidence she plays with. She trusts her game, takes quality shots, and delivers in key moments.
Williams provides a major spark for Pike’s second unit and gives them exactly what they need to succeed—efficient scoring, poise, and momentum when she steps onto the floor. Her continued growth makes Pike’s depth even more dangerous as the season moves forward.

may be the only sophomore on Pike’s varsity roster, she doesn’t play like it. She is extremely quick on the defensive end, able to pressure the ball and disrupt opponents, while also showing skill and confidence in attacking the rim and knocking down shots.
Williams finished the game with 8 points off the bench, providing the energy and scoring punch that Pike relies on from its reserves. With three more years ahead of her, she projects to continue growing into a key contributor and standout leader for the program.

Chami started the day off strong with her efficient shooting from mid-range and beyond the arc during shooting drills. She put her three-level scoring abilities and downhill instincts on full display during 3v3. Chami drilled a step-back jumper from the wing and a three-pointer in the slot. She used an inside-out dribble to create a lane and accelerated downhill to score the layup. Chami knocked down another triple up top, scored another contested layup, and drained a pull-up. Her impact continued during games with Team 5. Chami finished a left-handed layup off two feet and turned on the burners to score a coast-to-coast layup after securing a defensive rebound. She produced steals and blocked shots, knocking down a triple in the corner. Chami is an athletic guard who gets downhill and has the strength to finish through contact. She’s a dangerous perimeter threat and earned recognition as a Top Performer at the Sophomore ID Camp.
