The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id='1278862' first='Hadley' last='Cooper'] (2029) from Floyd Central High School.

With the state of high school sports right now, and student-athletes able to so easily transfer these days, throughout the Summer months there have been/will be several basketball transfers moving from one high school to another. I would like to take this time and identify a few that we recently learned about following the IBCA team shootout this weekend. Obviously, there are rumors out there, but we will not include any prospect in these articles throughout the Summer unless they have already updated their PGH profile, they have listed it on one of their social media accounts, we have seen them in action with their new school, or their high school coaches have told us.

.

Allie has family who has gone through the Plainfield program, so when she chose to attend Monrovia her first three years, there was a curiosity about it. Now, she is in a Quaker jersey as a Senior and should help to build depth in their backcourt. Allie is long and wiry, she's fluid and somewhat smooth athletically, and she can handle the ball, run offense, and knock down an open jumper when set and in rhythm. At the other end of the floor, she does a nice job of using her length and playing position defense, which will go a long way in a disciplined Plainfield program.

Havana spent her first three years at Decatur Central before transferring to Pike High School this Summer. She is the second former Hawk to become a Red Devil, joining [player_tooltip player_id='1263948' first='C.J.' last='Johnson'] (2029) in that manner. Havana has been really good this Spring and Summer, and she has looked healthy and much more explosive offensively. She has always been a good shooter with some range, and she is getting her feet under her and strong in her shooting, providing consistency from outside. Add to that her craftiness handling and passing the ball, and she should be a nice addition for Pike on the wing.

Madelynn making the switch from Speedway High School to Plainfield has kind of flown under the radar a bit. She was vital for the Sparkplugs, offering them shooting/scoring, rebounding, some ball-handling, and versatile defense. For the Quakers, she should be able to at least add some height, since they don't have many players over 5-feet-8-inches. Madelynn is extremely long, she can play inside the arc and pursue rebounds or defend, plus she can step out, knock down a rhythm jumper or put it on the floor and find open teammates. I will be curious to see how quickly she adapts.

Zoie is one of the more talented individuals to make a move this summer. She is one of four starters who left Monrovia, and she joins [player_tooltip player_id='751061' first='Grace' last='Deaton'] (2027) in heading to Cascade. Zoie is an offensive talent who can score it from all over the floor. She has good length on the wing, and she's a really balanced run-and-jump athlete, especially when she can get out and go in transition. She is drawing Division-I interest because of her skillful versatility, so she should definitely make an immediate impact for the Lady Comets. She's also a versatile and effortful defender who uses her length well.

Hadley is one of those players you enjoy watching, because she combines her high basketball IQ with her skillset and savvy. I've already commented how she at times is the best player on the floor for her 17U Prospects team. She is very crafty and does a great job of getting defenders on her hip, getting downhill, and driving through them to create contact. She has touch outside as well, and she possesses good vision and can find open teammates. She will bring backcourt security instantly to Floyd Central, but Henryville will be scrambling, as she was everything for them her Freshman year.
