Our fourth addition for stock risers in May has some players from each current high school that should be on radars of college coaches. Over the next few days we will continue to profile players that made a jump in the live period last month and could be poised for a breakout in July. Parts one, two and three are here if you missed it.

One of the top 2029 players in the state, Johnson will move to Millard North from Elkhorn South this winter. For Nebraska Attack, she is teaming with new Mustang teammate Mia McKenzie playing up on the 17U UAA team. We believe Johnson is one of a handful of players from the 2029 class that could be seeing Division I offers in her future. She's a long guard who can defend very well and is a scorer at all three levels who can really get to the rim and uses her left hand well. She averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds as a freshman, while shooting 42% from the field and 31% from beyond the 3-point line.

Also at Nebraska Attack, Whitney is a strong 2028 post that could be poised for a breakout July as well as her junior season upcoming at Millard West. Whitney is a physical post who greatly improved during her sophomore season and was a key cog in the Cats improvement during 2026 that led them to the Class A semifinals. Whitney averaged 7.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest for Millard West and it part of a strong team in the post for the UAA 16U team at Attack. An excellent rim protector, she also had 1.4 blocks per game as a sophomore. Scored 18 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in her two state tournament games while playing over 27 minutes per contest.

Mixed in with some great guards on the ETG 16U team like Payton Dolliver and Kinley Ford, Schieber has improved greatly this summer. As a sophomore at Elkhorn South, she played in just 10 games after having to sit out due to a transfer, but averaged 7.2 points per game. This summer, she picked up a Wayne State offer and last week at the Midwest Showcase in Columbia, MO she averaged 12.3 points per game for the Storm as they went 4-0 over two days. Scheiber is a willing, heady defender and steady point guard.

As the 2027 class starts nearing commitment time, we'll write less and less about them. Beveridge, however, is a currently uncommitted 2027 guard who is going to make some college program happy really soon. One of our favorite small class players to watch, Zoe has "in the gym" range and relentless motor on defense. For Gothenburg's third place team in Class C-1 last spring she had averages of 16.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.6 steals per game. She made 80 3-point baskets last year at a 33% clip. Beveridge is a player who seemingly never needs to come off the floor, plays with excellent energy and thrives when the stakes get just a little bit higher.
