It's hard not to write about Kinley Ford who is running the show for the ETG Midwest 16U team and has a recent Division I offer from Lipscomb. The definition of a point guard, she can score at all three levels and has established herself as an elite defender. While we know plenty of coaches will get to see her the rest of the summer with ETG, she'll have plenty of opportunities to showcase her talents with her new Kearney High team across the midwest as well. Both should be extremely valuable for Ford, who is the top prospect in our 2029 class. The Bearcats won the Nebraska "Big School" Top-Ten Camp on Tuesday and Ford was excellent on both ends of the floor in a 43-30 win over O'Neill.

A college coach asked us yesterday, "where can we find all the good 6-footers. They all go to play volleyball?" Have no fear, Nebraska has some and Renard may lead this list. At 6-2, she's a physical post for the ETG team and has done the same for Lincoln Northeast as well. Renard is a player who competes on both ends of the floor and was one of the top shot blockers in Nebraska last year and nearly 2.0 per contest. But, add to that she also averaged a double-double for the Rockets last year with 11.0 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Lake has caught our eye playing the Nebraska Attack 17U Rise team that is having an excellent summer and won their division at Live at the Lakes in Minnesota. A leader last season for Elkhorn North, Lake moved up the Attack UAA team in Minnesota when Macie Reiner was injured and responded by scoring 22 points in three games with that team. A 5-9 combo guard, Lake has length that will translate nicely to the next level. During her junior season, she averaged 10.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals while also shooting 31 percent from the 3-point line.

Freeman is another 2027 on the Rise team that played solid minutes in May and was a key contributor Omaha Westside's state tournament team last March. The 5-6 shooting guard, Freeman scored 35 points in four games for Nebraska Attack 17U Rise in their tournament championship at Live at the Lakes, where she also teams with Westside teammates Elise Pedersen, Gueryn Kay and Kendyl Davis. She led the Warriors in scoring last March at 11.8 points, but also added 4.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest. Freeman is another under the radar 2027 player that could have a big impact at the small-college level.
